@nhamms It actually won't matter if you do paint the back of the tank if you have a good t5 light.I don't think you know what your talking about there's olot of people that done this in there nano systems with no problems. But if you say so good for you.Now you know.
@CrayfishInMyAnus No,speacial salt. But some reefers say it does matter. any ways i use instant ocean that one of the best ones. but you could use what ever you want. i used lots of difrent ones and seen no difrence in change. Thanks for watching my vids.More comming soon!
Nice! I may start looking into making my own nano-reef at some point along the line here. I had been volunteering at a "science center" for awhile, helping clean and monitor 4 tanks, easily 5,000 gallons each. Now that I'm no longer volunteering there, I realize how cool marine life is even more than I did! How much does all this cost to set up a reef? thx!
@mistaecco Symple 10 gallon reef tank like this set up with coral. About $200 to $300 it just depends what kind of corals you put. But way worth the money very fun hobby. good luck happy reefing....
@hhinojosareef1 All you need is live rock and live sand, let it cycle until you get the nitrites down and nitrates up. ( usually takes a month ). Then you're ready to add your corals, clean up crew, fish etc.
oh cool do you have any suggestions on what i could do to mine because mine keeps breaking down on me i think its because the sand any suggestions????

You don't need to use a filter you know, you can do it all natural and not use one, it would save a lot of money. @nano-reef . com
