I lovveeee your videos they are very easy to make specially ppl living away from their home countries my kids love ras malai which i learned how to make by You both thankyou gals n keep uploading
Hi, you make things look so easy. Could you do a video to show how to make banana poori. I've been given a recipe but I've not had any success with making them. I need to probably practice making plain ones first! will do with your recipe soon. Thx.
@provogue1678 : This is not the "puri" for chaat - it is Puri that you eat with chole/channas. It is had as a bread. The Pani-Puri Puri is smaller...same name but different ways of making it and different purpose!
It is whole wheat flour that is available in Indian grocery stores. Some Walmarts also carry it in the Ethnic Foods aisle. Whole wheat flour from American grocery stores tends to be darker in color.
thank you ladies for the method! I'm making Poori tonight for my family. I think mine Poori would not same as yours as I had already baked my dough with yeast. Next time I definitely do the same as you had shown here. Thanks gain!
Actually Store like wal-mart are only available in US or some parts of europe, so as u mentioned in one of comment to a viewer, "u can buy in similar store", i thought u've specifically made this video for US users...thats the only intension for commenting....thanks...i like ur videos anyways
Don't show your background by using silly labels. Did I call you anything silly? If not then why use terms like "idiot". You should try and listen again too, I heard them say "poojas or when you have guests". Just calm down. I could call you labels too but I know that would serve no purpose. Just a piece of advice, if you like people to treat you with respect, then try and respect others too.
i'm learning how to cook,i made muli paratha today,and trying kheer,following ur recipe and puri i'm putting it for next week,Thank you so much,loving your videos.
guys..i m pretty confused here. I just watched another video where the chef used sooji/rava with a litle maida for the poori. here they are using only atta. so which is the correct method?
There are always many different ways of making the same dish, so really, there is no "correct" way. Using rava/sooji and maida will give you a little different texture. You can try out both methods and see which one you prefer.
I guess u r referring to Poori's of Pani Puri by Vahrehvah.... they are different for these ones. Thsoe are small poori, in which u add water(pani). These ones with eat with curries
hey auntys...m frm nepal n m here in usa right now so i miss my mom's homemade food a lot..thx for rhe videos....i made frm sooji haluwa last week...now i'll make some pooris...keep ur videos rolling.

I made it today. It came up very crispy! How to make it soft?
123rubul 9 months ago
@123rubul
You can try to roll it a bit thicker. Puri should be a little crispy on the top by soft inside.
ShowMeTheCurry 9 months ago
can i use all purpose flour?
sierraleonne111 9 months ago
@sierraleonne111
The texture may be very chewy. The whole wheat flour gives a good texture.
