Well just in case you are not familiar with the word, barbaric only means whatever or whomever is not from Rome, meaning the Roman Empire. What is from outside its borders. In that sense, yes, the Arabics are barbarian, just like the Chinese, the Mongols or so many other peoples. And as you certainly know, it was the barbarian invasions that caused the fall of Rome. Secondly I know all about the term you are using, I do a great deal of reading history, and to use it in its historical context for modern people is just plain wrong.
