  • haha 350wats for dual (GTX's) allegedly and a quad core, 4gb ram, hahahahahahahah! you fail at adding and common electrical knowledge. even if they were GT's they'd stil blow that power unit. a single 9800GT standard edition which was probably all that was available at the time uses about 150W

  • i have a custom but its in a blackbird 002 case just because it looks bad ass :)

  • HP sucks!!!build your own RIG its way better :D

  • @FlyHere660 prebuilt is more convenient, but i am with you. i will never buy a prebuilt desktop, but the m11x is here to stay for its performance and its small form factor

  • some people say build you own - thats an option of having a Bad ass PC

but this pc its okay for that price Intel core 2 Quad

    dual SLI nvidia 9900gtx

    its worth it the price

    my opinion

  • it's not gtx it's gts.

  • That's right, keep reading from the cue-cards hunnie. You can keep talking, and still don't know what the hell you're talking about.

  • If I buy this PC can I play Crysis on 1920x1200, and everything maxed out, will it be able to run at 40 FPS+?

If that doesn't work, how about World of Warcraft 1920x1200 and everything thing max, with the macro increased graphics (including fog distance increased). Will it be able to run it at 40 FPS+? And don't face lagg too (I mean cause of Grahpics not Internet)?

  • FB cant run crysis on 1920x1200 smmothly on medium settings. highest FPS u can get is below 20. And if the setting is maxed out, crysis wont be playable because of extremely low FPS.

  • I'll be getting a 24' HP Monitor, so I want to buy this PC. I want everything maxed out, what resolution you suggest?

  • on a resulation of 1,280 x 1,024, u will get 21 fps on medium setting and 4x aa (anti-aliasing). If everything is maxed, FPS will drop to 15-18 (gusseing). btw 17 fps on 1,600 x 1,200, high setting but not maxed and 4x aa.

  • Isn't that kind of small for a 24' Monitor, like cursers and action bars, etc will be bigger than normal? And yeah I know what's AA.

And by the way, what Resolution can I play with everything maxed out and 20+ FPS?

And another question can I remove those 2x GeForce 9800, and put a H20 GTX 295, or the upcoming GTX 300? If yes, will it be over-heated if I play more than 10+ hours, in other words does it have a good Liquid Cooling System?

  • i think there is no 24 inch monitor which support 1,280 x 1,024. to get 20+ fps, the resulation should be 1200x700. u cant remove graphics card because FB only has 350w power supply. u need a bigger power supply. as far as i know, FB has one of the best cooling system and its the most quiet desktop in the world.

  • So 1200x700 everything maxed out, is good?

And my monitor is a Full HD, 3000 Contrast, and Brightview tech, etc. Check it out HP Pavilion 24' Monitor.

And what if I buy the Blackbird 803, can I remove the GeForce 9800 and put another GTX 295, or the upcoming GTX 300. Cause I know it has 6 empty slots.

  • umm it can run every game thats popular on max but cysis and im thinking digital storm or this both 999$

  • ??? What are you saying?

Crysis can I play it on 1280x960 and maxxed out?? That's my question?

  • yep. I have a 4850 and it runs at those settings w/o lag.

  • build your own.

  • she states the Nvidia 9800GTX sli, running on 350 watt power supply bet those cards drain the whole lot unless it's crap who knows

  • Man she knows jack about what shes talking about.

  • Firebird has a blu-ray player?

  • Sadly,no.

  • yah it does

  • No, I have it, and it does NOT run blu ray, but you can buy an external blu ray player for it.

  • not even for the 2.83GHz version?

  • girl doesn't sound like she has any idea what she's talking about

  • she is new to the job, just build a new pc or go with gateway fx.

  • hps new piece of junk

  • 350 watts thats it!? hmmmm

  • It will be interesting to finally see benchmark results on this when they become available. The 9800S MXM cards are exclusively designed for this rig so there really isn't any way of guessing 3D performance yet. I do bet the liquid cooling will allow for some level of overclocking though.

  • 9800GS SLI... last i heard

  • lol she said it had 2X9800 GTX,'s in there.

    They are 9800s' not GTX.

  • Yeah but she is out of the kitchen.
