@mooserman911 no doubt GM do make good cars but for me growing up as an asian guy, honda, toyota,mazda, subaru,mitsubishi and nissan was an idea of choice because there are plenty of sports cars to choose from with style for a lot cheaper! by the way i am a classic subaru impreza gc8 Rsti owner and proud * hope GM gets back on their feet by selling this *Volt* good luck to GM!

someone should introdue this to GM. The demographic that buys this car don't care about speed or handling inasmuch as looks, and , man, does this look FINE!. I mean, it looks boring in standard form, but if GM offically DUBS it rides for consumers, the populaton that would most of the time buy chevys from the 1960's would line up on the block to buy this piece, and if this car can really challenge the foreign automakers who have corned the U.S. Automarket , this specific variant could fight!

Anyway, IMO the voly looks ok. In fact I'd even say it looks better than most other cehvys it's size. Thats not saying much though because apart from the corvette, and camero chevy styling makes me yawn.

yea i kno what i will do, take and electric car, and put bigger wheels on it, so the battery dies faster so i can use more diesel...fuckin stupid really, dub something else, not a hybrid

bigger wheel, more weight, more rotating mass for the electric motor to turn with more resistance, hence, battery dies quicker...it's like when you put huge wheels on a car, the car gets slower, handles worse, and if you try to go fast alot with those wheels, even moderate speeds, you will see a decrease in mpg....of course, up to a certain size won't hurt it, but width of the wheel as well comes into play

plastic or light weight metal? lightest wheels are magnesium, alloy compounds, then steel. some manufacturers use an alloy wheel then cover the spokes in a plastic cover that's plated to look like chrome (GM) ....but even if the wheel itself is relatively light, it could be heavier than allowed for the car, and thus have negative effects....then again, i magine ppl who dub their car out dont wanna drive fast, but as slow as possible, lol
