I am on Accutane now (soon finished) and they have helped me so much. I take blood tests and urine samples at a dermatologist, and he knows what he is doing, so even if my mood is crazy and im more tired than before, I would gladly do it again to improve my skin. AllThatGlitters21 got healthy skin after using this, so not everyone hate this. And of course there is lawsuits against this product, you guys live in America. I am not insane. What is insane is to just sit there and not deal with it.

Accutane Roche - It's insane how anyone would even CONSIDER taking this after reading the extreme potential side effects.
Doxycycline - This is an antibiotic, it will cause your bacterial infection (acne) to diminish at first, then become more resilient when it comes back, it will also kill off your intestinal flora, not a good tradeoff.
Spironolactone - Primary use is for high blood pressure, it has unpleasant side effects, one of which may be clearing of acne, but at a cost.
Honestly, it's always great to know you aren't alone when you are struggling with acne. I'd advise anyone to watch these videos for help/inspiration/outreach. Your very pretty, regardless :)

And the really crappy thing about the hair growth is because you're on acutane you can't have the hair waxed off, it has to be tweezed (which for that kind of hair really sucks!) reason being if you wax it off you could completely rip your skin off.... how fun is that!?

@MissKassandraBrooks i was reading a magazine and the one thing i remember is brown sugar with milk works as a scrub to get skin like a celebrity , but im not sure if you said you dont like diary products , but 1/4 cup strawberries fresh 1/4 cup sour cream or non-flavored yogurt , 1 tsp lemon juice 2 egg whites3 tsp honey1 cup strawberries , these are all for acne prone skin

@FuckeryFairy Sources? The drug is supposed to be completely out of your system in 6 months to 1 year. And really, if you become pregnant during the months you take the pills/a couple of months after... well, then you have to have an abortion sad but true. And I live in freakin Norway. They are very strict on drugs in general, even selling of pain killers and vitamin supplements are carefully regulated. They would so not have accepted accutane as an acne treatment if it caused that much damage.

I'm sorry you had such a terrible experience with accutane. My brother and I both took it and the only side effect we had was extreme dryness. I think the side effects depend on the individual. It was a miracle for us. I was also on the spiralactone or however and the reason it makes you pee so much is because it's a diuretic, my mom used it too to get rid of water weight.

Personally, i was on accutane for about 6 months, and i was carefully monitored by my doctor the whole time. i tried just about everything, and though accutane is a brutal drug, it did help. :/
@darknightfall Don't get me wrong, it worked for me. However, once the drug was out of my system for awhile my acne started to come back!! & that was because I was still eating tons of dairy not knowing it was the culprit :(

I started getting horrible acne when I was 10 and I started my dose when I was 12! I've been on a very very small dose of accutane for 3 years and I didn't have to sign a warrant because the dose was so tiny! This is going to sound so RANDOM, Kassandra, and probably weird, but are you on the birth control pill (you don't have to answer, haha)? But seriously, when I started taking my birth control pill, my acne DISAPPEARED. I can literally sleep in my makeup for a week and not break out...it's insane! Must be the hormones in it or something...I take Kariva if you were wondering : ) Oh, and also tea tree oil! That always seemed to help a little when I did have acne, before I started taking my BC.

I went on the pill to clear my skin up, but I know that the pill isn't the healthiest for you either (although not nearly as bad as accutane-so sorry you went through all that). My skin is clear now, but I'm currently off the pill, going to an doctor that specializes in chinese medicine and ayurveda hoping it will be a healthier option for me! ps your natural look in this vid is gorg!
@cult66623 Doctors still prescribe it!! For some people no other medicine will work! Everyone should be told about possible food allergies being the trigger before they are given such a harsh drug!! ugh!! Western medicine has so many flaws.
I had a flawless face before i started birth control shots. then my face broke out in painful cystic acne and i took 2 years before the effect from the shots went out of my system. Now my face is 80% clear again. warning do not go on birth control shots! :(

@MissKassandraBrooks i was reading a magazine and the one thing i remember is brown sugar with milk works as a scrub to get skin like a celebrity , but im not sure if you said you dont like diary products , but 1/4 cup strawberries fresh 1/4 cup sour cream or non-flavored yogurt , 1 tsp lemon juice 2 egg whites3 tsp honey1 cup strawberries , these are all for acne prone skin

wow i can totally relate to this, i didnt have bad acne problems but it was bad enough that i'd get teased in middle school. it wasnt until i got told that my acne was really gross that i bcame determined to clear my face. now 10 yrs later my skin is clear thx to clean n clear lol

WARNING: I beg everyone not to take Accutane. ESPECIALLY FOR GIRLS. they say that it will deform your baby and that you shouldn't get pregnant in the next few years. TRUTH IS: If you have ever taken accutane in your life, your baby will be deformed NO MATTER HOW LONG AGO YOU TOOK ACCUTANE. So to those who have gone through it I'm sorry about your future baby. @FuckeryFairy Sources? The drug is supposed to be completely out of your system in 6 months to 1 year. And really, if you become pregnant during the months you take the pills/a couple of months after... well, then you have to have an abortion sad but true. And I live in freakin Norway. They are very strict on drugs in general, even selling of pain killers and vitamin supplements are carefully regulated. They would so not have accepted accutane as an acne treatment if it caused that much damage.

I'm sorry you had such a terrible experience with accutane. My brother and I both took it and the only side effect we had was extreme dryness. I think the side effects depend on the individual. It was a miracle for us. I was also on the spiralactone or however and the reason it makes you pee so much is because it's a diuretic, my mom used it too to get rid of water weight.

Personally, i was on accutane for about 6 months, and i was carefully monitored by my doctor the whole time. i tried just about everything, and though accutane is a brutal drug, it did help. :/

@darknightfall Don't get me wrong, it worked for me. However, once the drug was out of my system for awhile my acne started to come back!! & that was because I was still eating tons of dairy not knowing it was the culprit :(

The RetinA really does horrible things with peeling when you first start, but once you really keep up with it and let it work, it actually works (at least for me). I was peeling so bad, my face was so red :\ i dreaded going to school, and finally! it looked good :)

I started getting horrible acne when I was 10 and I started my dose when I was 12! I've been on a very very small dose of accutane for 3 years and I didn't have to sign a warrant because the dose was so tiny! My skin is clear but do I get the odd spot when it's the time of the month! I suffered only 2 side effects, chapped lips and extra hairgrowth!

This is going to sound so RANDOM, Kassandra, and probably weird, but are you on the birth control pill (you don't have to answer, haha)? But seriously, when I started taking my birth control pill, my acne DISAPPEARED. I can literally sleep in my makeup for a week and not break out...it's insane! Must be the hormones in it or something...I take Kariva if you were wondering : ) Oh, and also tea tree oil! That always seemed to help a little when I did have acne, before I started taking my BC.

aww Kassandra I so hear you! I've struggled with acne in the past as well, it really is terrible. I went on the pill to clear my skin up, but I know that the pill isn't the healthiest for you either (although not nearly as bad as accutane-so sorry you went through all that). My skin is clear now, but I'm currently off the pill, going to an doctor that specializes in chinese medicine and ayurveda hoping it will be a healthier option for me! ps your natural look in this vid is gorg!

I had a flawless face before i started birth control shots. then my face broke out in painful cystic acne and i took 2 years before the effect from the shots went out of my system. Now my face is 80% clear again. warning do not go on birth control shots! :(
