When i started playing the Witcher and i heard this track in the menu... i immediately knew its was going to be an incredible game. This track really sets the "mood" of the entire game for me.

Polakkis have really nice fantasy, but its obvious because its this polish-litauish music and the area is likewise. Dark, kind of dirty... It has this Teutonic war feeling, dunno how to say.

I hate medieval RPG`s. Consider them to be child-ish, its always like "yeah im going to help everybody with their problems just cos im a white knight-- Oh noes! a choice! what should i do, kill the good guy and become evil or save the princess and be the hero? boy that sure is a tough choice, not to mention the crappy combat on games like "Dragon Age" where you have to pause all the time and shit... and then The Witcher came in, told me to STFU and hooked me with more than 50 hours of awesomenes

A friend suggested it, and I fell in love :) You start out as a merc or trader, and do whatever you want in a fantasy world (with no elves and magic!) and however you want, with the ultimate goal of becoming a king/queen. Mount & Blade: With Fire & Sword is historically based. Haven't played it yet.

I had an idea for a game where you are told nothing of your character's past and it is revealed to you based on choices you make that seem inconsequential. But I have no doubt it wouldn't sell. Too experimental.

well in actual classification of the weapons, it would be judged by its length, it looks like some sort of bastard sword or claymore/zweihander . But due to the christian design of some of the hilts on some swords in the Witcher, they are merely longswords based on its medieval setting.

The Witchers Blade can be made by any blacksmith, provided you have enough money to pay for the amount of silver required to forge it. But they are always looking for jobs to do so I'm sure a skilled smithy can make it. I don't think they franchised the actual Witcher stuff. Personally I wanted a pendant of the Wolf's head.

I love this game and I don't even like RPGs. I may be a tiny bit biased since the Wiedzmin novels are a personal favourite of mine, but even so, I love this game!! I love this music too. The game easily has one of the best soundtracks in recent memory. There are lots of good 'orchestral' soundtracks, but they hardly have the soul that this one does. They need more soul and life to distinct themselves from other orchestral soundtracks!
