  • C'mon, everyone! Were pitching in to raise money to get Ron Paul a toothbrush and toothpaste. If we get enough donations, we may even give him enough money to get his teeth cleaned. Give till it hurts! Were almost there!

  • CharlessMartel: You aren't funny. If you don't want to donate, then don't. No one is forcing it down your throat. I haven't donated because I'm still studying politics. No one is going to get a dime until I figure out who I'm going to elect, and I'm not voting until then either.

  • RON PAUL 2008!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Its wonderful that Ron Paul respects the consitution, but sadly he is the same as every other candidate as he doesnt realise our system of representitive government is broken. There is only one candidate running for president who understands rep goverment is broken and that person is Mike Gravel. The NI4D would empower citizens as law makers and we would no longer have to depend on our representitives to make laws that affect our every day lives, we could! Power to the people! Mike Gravel 08!

  • thats great that your for mike gravel, but how about spaming obama or Hillary Clinton videos mike is cool but he's no match for ron paul, so just give it up,no one is going to jump off the ron paul band wagon to jump on gravels sunk ship.

  • Tyranny is here and it is in the format of our representitive government. Government is broken because it is flawed, until people realise this we are always doomed to the same scenario. A 4th check and balance is needed. Research Mike Gravel and the NI4D, he is the only candidate runnin this election offering a true solution

  • look I'm not against gravel, i like the guy i really do, if paul wasn't running gravel would definitely have my vote, but the guy is not picking up steam he losing it,gravel has no chance to win but Dr.paul while still a long shot is with in striking distance, I like gravel but your vote would be better used if you voted ron paul.

  • Gravel is doing better than what you give him credit for. The top 5 media is trying there best to keep a lid on his campaign giving him 4 mins to speak each debate. The same media run the polls too. This election is too important to vote "safely". "We the People" have to make a stand this election, that stand should be for Gravel. the NI4D, and citizen law making powers on a Federal Level to fix broken representitive government.

  • kyeot: I respect the fact that you are for Gravel. Ron Paul's solution to this corruption in our gov is this. If we followed the Constitution the fed gov would be small. Currently, our large fed gov gathers up a large bounty of tax money and then gives them out to special interests. Eliminate the large gov and you will eliminate their power to divide up our tax money.

  • wbbqjr: Thats like saying a successful buisness with millions of employees can be run by just a hand full of people. Allocation of responciblity will always be needed for us to be successful, regression does nothing to improve our country as a whole, it only resets the timer for the same scenario. When people have power through the NI4D we wont have to wish and pray Ron Paul does the right thing. Gravel 08!

  • If we do it Ron Paul's way then the power will go to the people too! "Stop and think"..haha. j/k.. But think about it. The fruits of our labor either goes to the govt through taxes or it comes to us and we can spend as we please. Why give all the money and responsibility to the govt. Let us keep our money and do what we wish with it.

  • I respect Gravel and I have even donated to his campaign! However, after becoming a student of economics I've realized that freedom and small govts is the real solution. If we give the govt all this money, how can we expect the money not to corrupt them? This is human nature.

  • Obviously you didn't study history. Remember the robber baron age?

  • I agree with wbbgjr and representative government would work if more people took the time to vote and know more about the people they are voting for. it doesn't work not because of the law makers but because most poeple care more about britney and k-fed than what's going in the government, so these brain dead entertainment tonight watching citizens is who gravel wants to give law making powers too? no thanks unfortunately there are more of them than us.

  • look I'm not against what your doing but don't spam ron paul videos go after another democrat, I like gravel and if America was smart and not dumb there would be a ron paul vs mike gravel in the general election that way no matter who lost we would all still win.

  • I love watching Mike Gravel in the debates call out the Democrats. Check out Ron Paul in the debates calling out the Republicans.

  • I respect Ron Paul for his loyalty for the consitition, and he says some pretty impressive things. But again he still doesnt understand Representitive Government is broken, and he doesnt have a plan to fix it. No one wants to pay taxes but Bush went wild created a unbelievable National Debt because we as citizens were too blind to see Representitive Government is broken.

  • kyeot: Representative gov does have its flaws, but so does a true democracy where the majority gets their way all the time. Democracy is often called the tyranny of the majority or mob rule.

Yeah, we can agree on Bush was horrible. Like, I said, I've donated to Mike Gravel just for the simple fact that he's an honest guy and an independent thinker. Don't find many of those these days...

  • Its sad to see that fear rules people lives, fear is not something that should keep us from empowering the people as lawmakers. Look at Sweden, they have a form of direct democracy and they are the richest society atm. What you should be fearful of is a Government that sticks almost 1/3 of its people in prison. Laws like the NI4D are needed now if we want to see America and the Consistution surive.

  • wheres the full debate

  • I understand that it wasn't being released by media and those watching on television couldn't record via DVR (don't understand this claim but that's what i heard). Thus you'll find these snippits of cellphone videos of which I am grateful as I missed this debate.

  • like what?

  • Ron may have voted no on a few things I'm sure the Values Voters didn't like but I'd rather him vote that way than one of the others winning and flipping on the way they voted.
