I've had this since I was 3, and my school days were horrible I hated not being able to play in gym like the other kids. Now that I'm 20 it's getting worse once again.
I also have JRA..i got mine when i was around 10 after taking medication for Lupus..i'm now 17 and still face symptoms of my JRA and i now also have Fibromyalgia..i get picked on in school when i can't walk and although most of my friends are there for me they don't fully understand my condition..thats where Camp Boggy Creek has helped me..Camp Boggy Creek is a camp for kids ages 7-16 who have medical conditions to spend a week being a kid..I've met lots of kids my age with JRA and it helps :)
i was diagnosed with arthritis when i was 4 , i feel the same way as Mikayla , She is so sweet and she reminds me of her , I hope one day there is a cure , for both of us to tell people that young children no longer get it.

@Tessa0and0Emily - I hope you're feeling better soon. Mikayla goes to the Painted Turtle Camp for kids with JRA. Camp is amazing!

I was just diagnosed with arthritis two days ago... and I LOVE sports... and I had to quit.. cheerleading :(...... it stinks. I'm too young!
