This movie kicked ass...all to the point where the other survivors arrived in that small bob tail truck. From there it all went to shit, even the acting went sour on everyone.
i think there are a lot of realistic dynamics in this movie. Good anthropological study.
First, the old lady armed with desire to help and good will--but lacks finesse. She saves many but is also one of the 1st to die.
2nd. The black guy with the "Russian" wife--suggests mail-ordered. For brothers who prefer white women, Russian women are more available.
3rd. This guy has always wanted a family, but it was slowly shattered as he watched his wife turn. He couldn't take the truth.
