While I agree completely that it doesn't make sense to argue what does and does not have feeling, I still find some songs that just don't seem to "speak" at all, forget whether or not they speak to me. That distinction I think is what people get confused. A song can speak to someone without speaking to you. Now, that doesn't mean it doesn't have feeling, you just aren't feeling it yourself.

Feeling best describes what I experience when I'm the one playing however.

ive been a fan of john for a long while now, and i gotta agree, even though i lov ehis music, he can seem very static when he performs, and it doesnt translate as much as vai or satch, or guthrie, and satch looks the way he does cuz hes a big fan of the silver surfer, and embodies that style
