In all the advertising campaigns they use for their Halo games, Bungie always make the franchise out to be a really hectic, chaotic and gritty sci-fi war experience. Then you play the actual games and your floaty jumping your ass around the place in a bright, colourful and very clean world, and laser gunning a bunch of cartoonish aliens with the greatest of ease.
