I guess this version of the song was always the interpretation of the song that I took. To me, doing it this way gets at someone who wants to show their affection for someone, but somehow can't do it (for whatever reason). It can of course be taken the other way that you can easily do it and its what you want to do and you are together. I very much enjoy this one as opposed to the Beatles interpretation, but that's just me.
