  • Voice and video is out of sync.

  • cbs equals bullshit.

  • The way decent governments make money is by moderately taxing its citizens, but a more efficient way of making money is by simply taking all of that person’s profit / productivity, this is called slavery.

  • An efficient way for governments to make income, is by taking lands and resources from peoples who cannot defend themselves, combined with enslaving these peoples / taking all of these peoples productivity / profits as your own, governments that practice this over the centuries become Empires.

Nations that had the practice of colonization and or enslavement forced onto them, over the centuries became Third World nations.

  • Nations that had the practice of colonization and enslavement forced onto them, over the centuries became Third World nations.

In the beginning most colonized and enslaved nations appeared glamorous and romantic, but if you follow the money trail you find that these colonies are nothing more than Concentration Camps.

If you allow yourself to see beyond the Ritzy Architecture, you find that these colonies were nothing more than Romantic versions of Adolf Hitler's Concentration Camps.

  • @emmanuel5ful Yeah, shame on CBS for telling history like it is instead of glorifying the US.

  • White people discoverd Haiti, build a function state, imported slaves. Western guilt forces whites to give the same rights to the mulattos. Mulattos took over everything and then the Africans killed of the Mulattos and the whites (that remained). Since then there have been civil wars, famine and deforestation. The Haiti example show that black empowerment leads to failure.

  • @FreeDogdylan - Give me Liberty or give me Death Patrick Henry.

  • @FreeDogdylan No the White People did not Discover Haiti, the Carib Indians did. The Caribbean Indians inhabited Haiti and Dominican Republic and Jamaica hundreds of years before Columbus got there.

Ask yourself this question, why is that region of the world called the Caribbean, or why is that part of the ocean called the Caribbean Sea?

That part of the world was named after the Indians that inhabit it.

  • @FreeDogdylan The Caribs are believed to have migrated from the Orinoco River area in South America to settle in the Caribbean islands before 1200 AD, according to Carbon Dating, leading up to Columbus' arrival in the Caribbean archipelago in 1492.

  • @FreeDogdylan No, Haiti was not Functional or Prosperous under the White People / French occupation, you cannot consider a nation prosperous when over 80% of its population is enslaved, not even making minimum wage, subject to whippings beatings at any time, being denied the most basic human rights, also over 80% of that nation's population was denied even a fifth grade education.

Haiti was only prosperous for Napoleon Bonaparte and his War Machine.

  • @FreeDogdylan Yes, Haiti is a money sucker, it's people was denied a Heritage of Educated Ancestors by the French / White People. If a slave tried to be an educated person he would be lynched.

Basically you're saying, it really doesn't matter about the Deplorable human condition, or Incredible Dysfunctional condition of Slavery under Napoleonic France, all that’s important is Productivity and Profit.

By your standards, Adolf Hitler's Concentration Camp was very Productive.

  • the last sentence of this Documentary is what count: Haiti must rise up again. Not with violence, but with dignity and self governance.

  • So what this "professor" of history is saying is: 'Without Haiti revolting we would not have America today as we know it'

Ok. Fine. Where is her documentation for this claim? Where is the link? Any proof of a direct connection for Frances motive to sell Lousiana?

I want to see her proof. That statement smacks of politically correct revisionist media bullshit history.

  • @LeftLiberalSoCal Your a fucking idiot. Shes a professor at Columbia. If you know anything about history, you can understand the progression of The french disinterest in the Americas.

  • @LeftLiberalSoCal So why don't you ask her then? What she said isn't controversial or contested, she's a fucking historian who studies these things for a living. You're a dumbass kid too busy masturbating to get a real education.

  • @laguira100 You're a cold hearted little fuck.

  • It is an international conspiracy like the killing of JFK or Apollo 11. No seriously every country needs help now an then but it does not mean they ar oppressed it simply means that it experience a large disaster like New Orleans or NY on 9/11 Haiti will rebuild and be better then before .Reparation are in order for every Haitian from the money they paid the French.

  • First the french and it s allies, the US and others raped haiti by forcing it to pay reparation to french for winning their war for indepence, then u have the US with their races foreign policity, refusing to recognize haiti and helped isolated haiti for decades, then invated the island then when finally left, they continue to support dictators tha oppress the people, and coup-d etat every time an honest goverment is in power<now it s the IMF and World bank, loans with high interest for haiti to pay
