Yeah, I believe the film is out in theaters in Europe now, but in North America, it was out since December. The North American Blu-ray release will probably be region-locked.
@TylerPreston20 Just so you know, it's not a remake, it's an adaptation of the novel. It's also much closer to the novel than the Swedish film. Can't wait to get this on Blu!
Really...I thought with the Swedish films being out, it's kinda like a remake. I'm not sure myself as I haven't read the novel or seen the Swedish films. At any rate, I can't wait to get it myself. =d
Yeah, I highly recommend The Girl with The Dragon Tattoo remake. The music is great, the acting is great, the title sequence is great, just everything about it was great. =d
No problem, I'm also looking forward to getting this Blu-ray along with the book and the Swedish film. I have a lot catching up to do since I only the seen the remake. =d
what have we just been mate. i never quite catch that bit. i have heard some people say that the origional trilogy is so good that they will not even bother with the remakes. are you a die hard type mate. whats your take on the whole hollywood cant come up with any origional ideas debate. now the harry potter series is over, will they even bother doing anything new. i dont claim to be qualified to say but i do encourage discussion on the subject for sure. have a great weekend dude
Well, I haven't seen the originals at all, just the American remake. I have to say, it's extremely great, everything David Fincher does is awesome. I dislike remakes as much as everybody else, but I was surprised that I liked the American version. As for the whole Hollywood doesn't come up with original ideas, I'd say that's true, most stories nowadays comes from other countries or comic books.
I haven't seen this one or read the novels, but I'm looking forward to watching it on Blu-ray!!

Can't wait! Should be a great release. I haven't gone to the theaters to see it so it should be really enjoyable to watch at home.
