  • Indians don'ts pronounce english right ......

They mix pronouncing with their mother language .

  • @abdboji but indians are technically strong.....and this lecture is not about english ...if u want to hear good english , see sme other utube clip.

  • why does it say" An error occurred, please try later"

  • @viresh1612

may be ur internet connection is slow / may be server is down

  • For those of you who are saying that this is boring. Maybe this is just the beginning, because he does talk about networking in general and about it's history. However, if you look at all the other lectures he made, you can see that lots of people thanked him and the Indian gov't for these great lectures.

  • It does become boring after a short while, and you really have to keep your attention from drifting away. I found most of the analogies he used confusing and badly explained.

For what it is worth, it is free education, and the materials are structured so you can learn step by step.

  • expected a lot......

  • I love this. This is very cool. Free school! ehehehe

  • Is he a IIT faculty!!!!!! he has made networks soooo borin which otherwise is interesting !!!!!

  • For those of you that cannot hear, purchase some headphones, and turn up the volume

  • Don't watch this unless you want to bore yourself silly! Most of the content in this intro lecture can be found in other videos of higher sound quality and of shorter length!!

  • In OSI reference model (minute 40) there should be also Transport Layer between Session Layer and Network Layer. Profesor said about seven layers but there are only six layers on this slide. Am I right?

    BTW interesting lecture.

  • Yes, you are correct. He is missing layer 4, which is the transport layer.

  • @subiektywna and funny is that he has missed exactly the most important layer ;-) I wish he could change this...

  • @subiektywna good observation

  • good

  • voice too low please

  • argh, i cant hear this properly

  • Voice is too feeble to hear. This entire thing needs to be re-recorded and please all the available modern equipment to illustrate.

  • Buy some headphones, and turn up the volume. I can hear him fine.
