  • Unfortunately, ballads like this one do not exist anymore !

  • OMG, i used to sing this to my GF back when it came out in the mid 80's. I had it on cassette.

Wow, thanks for the intense memories! Such a lovely song!

  • thanx shocker *-* i love this song

the whole soundtrack is amazing =)

  • Yes, once upon a time, Movie Soundtracks do contain gems like this

  • "Shocker" was a horrible movie...with a pretty good soundtrack.

I think this is one of the best power ballads of the 1980s. Pity it isn't more well known.

  • whot an amasing creation! this is art people and feelings! i just know i adore it...this should be a hit nowdays instead of a stupid melancholic song lets say... beyonce broken hearted girl !

  • really ballad of a lifetime ,

    thanx paganini33

    thanx saraya...

  • really nice song...love it

  • رووووووووووووعه

  • Just got the DVD of this movie "Shocker" in eBay. Also got a used like new OST CD :)

  • Wonderfull song!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Heartbreaking, yet legendery.. Or, even better, "therefore"....

  • Bad ass song!

  • lol i am named after this band

  • Nothing but some of the best Classic Rock. "Hair" is an MTV term attempting to take away from the music, it's ordered by a scamming industry, a dysfunctional RIAA selling bad products. They have long hair, but that's really just the classic Hard Rock/Heavy Metal image. And that's what it is, none less.

  • Anyone know if there's a live version of this song?

  • "Timeless Love" plays on the end credits of Wes Craven's movie SHOCKER!

  • i was named after this group. my name is saraya. lol

  • Timeless love...and one timeless song by Saraya!

  • Definetly an emotional solo, with Sandi's vocals over it, and Tony Rey is a great guitar player, I always thought he played the solo, and Steve played rhythm on this. Either way, amazing song! Glad I have this on cd !

  • steve lukather solo- the best ever!!

  • preciosa balada y preciosa voz . sandi saraya.

  • This song never made it into the mainstream, but I consider it to be a classic power ballad from that 80's hair band ear!!!! Priceless!!!!

  • la chanson est extraite de la BO du film "Shocker"

  • When I first heard this song, I played it at least a dozen times and am thankful to the person who shared it with me!

Though I'll never live this moment again

    Ageless us

So let's leave no regrets behind

  • I tell you what...Shocker SUCKED, but it produced one of the best soundtracks! Another great song off that one was The Awakening by Voodoo X!

  • @Memoryburst I don't think Shocker was as bas as Battlefield Earth, Starship Troopers, Gigli, Glitter, Crossroads (starring Britney Spears) or Ishtar.

  • @bucky468 You have a point! NOTHING is worse than Battlefield Earth.

  • wonderful song

  • And to think. I was named after this band...

  • @SarayaCoburn Your parents are ok in my book!

  • @SarayaCoburn

    Fantastic.

  • @SarayaCoburn and the band was named after her!

  • this ballad is so romantic damn!!!! i love it

  • one of a best soundtrack with trick or treat

    thanksssssssssss

  • thts so cool my name is Sarayha holy crap i have never heard of a another saraya before

  • From what CD does this come? I have the first and second, and there is no track like this on either of them.

  • it's from the "shocker" soundtrack

  • It's from the "shocker" film soundtrack...how can such a crappy movie produce such a great 80's hair band ballad

  • It should be on the Shocker Soundtrak!

  • que hermoza balada, lastima que no saliera en ninguno de los 2 discos

  • I loved this song, it was recorded originally for the soundtrack for the Wes Craven movie 'Shocker' and is available on the OST of the movie, Sandi Saraya was a stunning latino babe, and the main selling point to the band, the guys in the band were nothing without her. But it was in the days when the entire band would fight over the Hairspray!!!!!!!!!!

  • Awesome song... What a pity all that grunge s**t killed off bands like Saraya, ah well...

  • you are so right mate...but it was never meant to last was it...music changes for better or worse...at least we have the memories of the greatest decade for music and now with wonderful youtube can experience them all again!

  • Is this speed metal?

  • Grindcore.

  • nah, I think Saraya were hard rock. This song being from a film soundtrack and not on any album.

  • Wll I'll tell you what, they're all pretty but I'd only let the middle one shave my balls.

    But that's just me.

The other chicks look kinda like guys.

  • there should have been video's for this and healing touch!!

  • yes, healing touch was the best track on the first album... truely awesome.

  • Sandi Saraya was the BEST....

  • This was later covered by Jennifer Rush in 1992.

  • when did this come out?

  • I was looking for this song for years..

    Masterpiece!!!!

  • Great song, Great soundtrack, Great memories.

It's a shame this band didn't come out in the earlier part of the 80's, I think they would've gotten a lot more recognition if they had.

  • yep. that movie was awful, but the soundtrack was really good

  • one of the few horror movies I watched and own the soundtrack too! AWESOME!!! SHOCKER!!

  • Miss these days and this song.

    I remember 1'st hearing this in 1990.

    Thx for the upload.

  • Damn Sandy had an AWESOME voice. Also looked like a girl I went out with some in college in the late EIGHTIES. There were a lot of girls who looked like that then WHERED THEY ALL GO TO!!!!?????

  • Guys....this track was'nt on either of their 2 albums......is it available?

P.S. Any ideas where i can find "When The Blackbird Sings..." ? Very rare!

  • U can find it in THE SHOCKER O.S.T

  • =D Hey, this is the band my step-dad is in he's gary the one all the way to the left with black hair. Thanks for the comments about the band i'll make sure to tell him :)

  • Just a magnificent piece of work. I just ordered the first album off Amazon, can't wait to get it! I think Steve Lukather actually played the guitar solo on this track......

  • Correction: THANK YOU paganini33!

  • LivingInADream10: This video makes me so sad - for the unfulfilled promise of this amazing band. I have been a Saraya fan since their start. Sandi was one of the greatest female hard rock singers I have ever heard, the band amazingly tight and professional. The guitar work is extraordinarily tasty! Both Saraya releases live forever on every MP3 player I own. Where did this come from? Do you have more from the demo? Brilliant stuff! THANK YOU! Sandi, if you see this, people still love you! cheers

  • mariusar888, This song is off of the Shocker soundtrack (a thriller/horror movie from the 80s)

  • This is my wedding song!!!!

    Love is all that matters!!

    All the rest is B.S.!!!!

One of the best ballads ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • finally, i found this my love song and so sweet sound of saraya. love you.

  • Oh Wow! Great song..I love it! 5*

  • Beautiful..... one of a few great tracks on the Shocker OST.

  • "I don't have to see you everyday. Only fools put chains on Love" :)

  • Great song, when I first heard 'the world is not enough' the 007 track by Garbage it made me remember this classic, quite similar in style. It could be a bond theme too.

  • I never believed when I searched for this it would be on here! I feel like I am the only one in the world who remembers this song! I always thought this was so beautiful-I have it on cassette single still but have not listened in years! thanks so much.

  • This song makes me wanna cry.....sooooo beautiful.

  • Hauntingly beautiful song! Still can't fight back the tears when I hear this one. Celebrating a recent reunion with my own Timeless Love while mourning the 16 years we lost to a misunderstanding from which we've only recently recovered. After 16 years and with 200 miles between us, nothing has changed in our hearts. Counting down the twenty four days until we next hold each other. Across the miles from me to you. Je t'aime.

  • That's awesome! I don't think people today truly understand what "Timeless Love" really means... :)

  • Thank you for uploading this song, it was one of the better songs from the soundtrack that never got the respect it deserved. Do you have the whole cd (shocker)?

    thanx for the memories

  • i do u can get a copy on ebay.good luck

  • 1989 shocker soundtrack and movie//also on the soundtrack/paul stanley/megadeth/dead-on/saraya and a few more,its a preaty cool metal soundtrack

  • Awesome love tune and my fav. from Saraya. First time I heard it was at the very end of Shocker as someone already mentioned. Thank you for this!

  • Which album is this from? I have their first two, which are the only ones that I thought existed! Someone, if you know, please tell me!

  • This is from the soundtrack for the Wes Craven Movie, "Shocker"

  • Many thanks and I wish that I had picked up the soundtrack now as it's such a hauntingly beautiful song. Sandi Saraya's vocals never sounded better and I have both of Saraya's CDs, too.

Any chance in putting the lyrics in the description area?

  • I agree as I like vids with the lyrics, too.

  • very nice song !! i m making this one on keyboard !! great voice

  • nice song
