Firstly, the Flip Video looks spectacular. I've been on the fence, and this video helps me a lot. Secondly, I'm very new to Anders (the last half-hour), and this song is awesome... Anybody else hear the heavy Van Morrison influence? It's great, like a tribute, or maybe a cover of a song I never heard. I apologize for being late to the game, maybe I'm not in on the story of the song yet.
Just wondering...2007 at the Howlin Wolf, I waited for Tab Benoit/Voice of the Wetlands Band to come on at like 1:00am..He's into his first intro, but seems to be waiting, and in comes some guy (Anders?) literally running onto stage and sliding into his place with guitar and starts playing. For two years I'm wondering who this guy was....Anders?
I saw him at The Rams Head Tavern around the same time. They came running in the club and said they'd gotten lost coming from B.W.I. It seemed that they were playing everything super fast that night too, but I figured it was because they'd been late. I'll still go back to see him when he comes back to town.
Back To Dumaine is one of my favorites, but it did seem a bit fast here too. Breathe Anders!
