But if you mean if you can use an actual Famicom system in the U.S. then yeah. It's NTSC so there shouldn't be a problem.

Oh and it was called BOTH Pokemon and Pocket Monster in Japan. The opening theme song is called "Mezase! Pokemon Master" not "Mezase! Pocket Monster Master".

You can skip levels by pressing select while paused, and the third level's called Tableland, for some reason. Oh, and you can still pause and move around after you've died. That's the most fun I got from it.

Honestly, I wouldn't give this game the time of day from watching it. But your reviewing skills need some work. I get the feeling you're going for a hostile approach towards the game's flaws...which is fine and hilarious if done properly. Your problem is that over 50% of the time you are just moaning and groaning at nothing. For instance "Ugh! Can you believe this??" without explaining what you mean..."Come on!" waiting for the game to load. These seems like your personal flaws coming out......

The creators of this were smart. They knew the game sucked balls, they also knew that if they whopped "pocket monsters" on it and a picture of pikachu the game would sell. Fan-boys are an endless source of cash for them and besides. it worked for all the other pokemon bootlegs.

Oh God. I remember this game and like 50 other bootlegs. I had (and I think I still have) a Gameboy Color cartridge shipped from Korea that has 100+ Games on it including the original Pokemon Crystal. It had this, Mario Tennis, Bootleg Pokemon Diamond, Bootleg Pokemon Jade, etc. After a while, the cartridge started shitting out and any saved data was never saved! X_X
