  • WHEN I LISTEN THIS SONG I MISS MY DEDY A LOT.....I LV U DADY.....

  • i am crying..

  • dear friends try this song in this way......you will really analyse yourself....

in the place of "bachoo" use "hum hi" and accordingly in the place of "ye desh he tumhara" use "ye Desh he Hamara" and try to sing this song you will definitely feel the difference. only children are not adviseble to be honest and accountable, they are always honest but it is we the adult to be the model for children. change the whole wording in this way and feel the difference.......mihir

Jai Shri Ram protect Bharatmata from all the dark Evil forces.

  • can some one post this movie

  • I remember a parody of this song in a Jackie Shroff movie. It went something like this:

"Netaon ki dagar pe, chamchon dikhao chalke...yeh desh hain tumhara, kha jao iss ko talke"

No offence meant to anyone. I am an Indian. I just remembered the parody as soon as i read the name of the song.

  • @kslonly4u if we want to prevent perodies like this we will have to make every effort to make this song true.

I am a s/w professional & a married man..is these words really hols any values in these worlds...i was a really beliver of this....but in present time it doresent holds any values.

  • Do not believe anything because it is said by an authority, or if it is said to come from angels, or from Gods, or from an inspired source.

Believe it only if you have explored it in your own heart & mind & body and found it to be true.

  • Rahul, the values still hold good. This world would be a jungle but for some people who hold these values. So don't get disheartened. Things will change one day.

  • Rahul, if you really listened the words of the song, you would remember this, "Duniya ke ranj sehanaa, aur kuchh naa munh se kehnaa, sachchaaiyon ke bal pe aage ko badhte rehnaa, rakh doge ek din tum, sansaar ko badal ke."

And also don't forget my friend...."Yeh desh hai TUMHARA, netaa TUMHI ho kal ke." It is addressed exactly for the feelings you have. When you are in doubt and noone is following the righteous path then too, "Ekla cholo re".

  • @gunchibaiyya Jabe tomaar dak sune na keo tabe ekla chalo re

  • nice song!!!...luv the lyrics and Hemanth da's voice.....

  • So movingly rendered. Hemant was one of the rare geniuses of the Indian film industru: a signer, composer, music director snf lyricist.

I had the rare opportunity of seeing his live shows twice and close up. Those memories are etched deeeply in my psyche.

  • I love this song so as the principle and always following it but there was a new song from Jackie Shroff movies and in the same tune says NETA O KI DAGAR PE CHAMCHO DIKHAO CHALKE YEH DESH HAI TUMHARA KHA JAO ISKO TAL KE

SUBAH KO EK DAL ME AUR SHAM EK DAL ME KIMAT APNI BADHAO TUM PARTY BADAL KE

  • ganga jamuna

  • Marvellous

  • one of the rare song which Hemant Da sung for Naushad sahb.and how nicely his voice suit for the character

  • Jai Hind!! Jai Bharat!!

  • Such wisdom in this song. Thank you for uploading this.

  • did any one notce this part..

    duniya ke ranj sehna..par

    kuchh na muhn se bolna..

sachhai ki bal pe aage ko badh te rehna...

rakh doge ek din tum sansar ko badal....

This is India... we are taught the principle of non-violence since our childhood.

    Our country is great.

  • tan man ki daan dekhar bharat ki laj rakhna

    jeevan naya milegi

    antim chita main jalke

We Indians are taught kranthi (revolution) also along with shanthi (non-violence).

    Dont forget that lesson.

  • very true....

  • Dude its "kuchh na muhn se kehna"

Also, if it might be in the slightest possible, can you all speak english properly please?

  • This song still makes me cry. What a beautiful and thoughtful song composed almost 50 years ago. Wish we could all follow of what's taught by this generous teacher.

  • Another great song which shows that we are heading in the wrong direction. Lawlessness, Poverty, Hunger is prevalent in our country even after 60 years of Independence. Sad.

  • What a Super Patriotic Song of our beloved Bharat. I heard on All India radio in the mornings when I was kid.

    I love this Patriotic Song.

  • Like Mother India ,this was a brilliant social documentary on the exploitation of the poor by the Capitalist system of inequality. India produced some great films- Do Bigha Zamin also. Kaleem

  • I don't know when the great lyricists, music composers would be able to create such motivating sings any more. We have already started living in the fantasy world.

  • such great words...this is the culture we all come from...we sudnt forget our roots..our Indianness..This is what our religion teaches us...

  • what a rich, lovely song. You know there were teachers like this, at least when I was growing up. Truly selfless, and liberal in the real sense of the world. Inspiring and treating all kids as the same, as if their own! I am not saying there are not now, only that I am not familiar with the current situation.
