Obama says no to anwar, no to nuclear power, no to solutions, yes to higher prices, no to the gulf even though China is drilling there.

Biofluels are a red herring in the search for energy solutions. A system that depends on ethonol, made mostly from corn, supports the minimization of all other crops. Monocultures lead to soil depletion, pest problems, and to furhter use of nitrogen-based fertilizers that poison our water, and petroleum-derived pesticides that poison our food, our environment, and our bodies. To Barack Obama. Pres. Bush and V.P. Chenie have all but eliminate the checks and balances put into place by the founding fathers to limit the powers that the pressidant has. What would you do to restor these VITAL checks and balances? Second, I am told that you refuse to place your hand over you heart while reciting your Pleage of Allegiance to this great nation. I would just like to Know why you choose not to swear your Allegiance to this country and to the flag under witch you serve?

2000 trees, Home Depot is planting 300,000 trees and in ten days one coal fired plant will nullify that. We all can make a difference, buy a green car, stop supporting urban sprawl, eat less meat, and have less children. We must do our part with pressuring politicians to give these incentives for a green economy.

It's impossible to speak to the complex idea of an energy plan in a short clip such as this, but we do get a sense of where Obama's thinking goes on the subject. The campaign is a dumbing down on the big questions, and candidates respond so simplistically, we have, in the end, no idea who they are, what they'll really do once in office, where their true passions lie, and what are their visions for leading the country out of the present quagmire and into an inspired 21st century paradigm.
