  • i don't see dwight howard doing any stuff like this... nobody can touch shaq.

  • @PorterLucas damn right Dwight Howard is the fake superman

  • the 18 people that disliked this video were the people he capped or dunked on!

  • Dang, :44 Shaq runnin the floor with some handles and a flashy pass damn he was athletic

  • @roadrunner7000 Young Shaq was simply Beast...Lean, Strong and Quick

  • if that was shaq in his prime against dwight howard he'll own him easily

  • I was on a first date with a girl at the Sixers game at 1:30. All she knew was Wilt Chamberlain. But she was cool.

  • there will never be another shaq.

  • the sickest backboard breaker of all time in his rookie year WTF?!?

  • WOW he broke 2 backboards in a year

  • lol cookie monster face 1:58

  • he probably has the most posters in his house than any other player in history

  • too make this video official it should have shaq shooting a three

  • goodness! shaq was so thin back then...

  • i'm sorry but who the fuck is blake griffin?

  • jesus christ... if he stayed in this shape his whole career...

  • shaq could actually jump over a dime at one point in time

  • Magnifique !

  • Great!!!

  • you can thank shaq for the strong backboards nowadays hahaha

  • 0:17 and 1:51 the boards just got SHAQed

  • Wanted to see this after seeing his retirement earlier... HOLY HOT DAMN does time do bad things to you in the future. Amazing Shaq kept it up this long to begin with

  • 0:16 & 1:50 :)

  • Shaq is a straight up boss

  • 18 dislikes?, i think this people are sore Sacramento and Portland fans!

  • i forgot how mobile he was

  • 0:32 Shaq in 3D, OH NOOOO!!!!!

  • 0:17 WOOOOOWWWW

  • they changed the way the basket was built because of Shaq

  • this mix would have been better with his own music

  • Shaq is definitely one of the greatest players to ever play the game...He will be missed.A very impressive and exciting 19 year career.

    A TRUE LEGEND RIGHT THERE!!!

  • sit cho ass down Blake Griffin

  • Shaq was a once in a lifetime player... Glad it was in mine

  • I forgot how fast Shaq was....

  • The beast has retired, what a truly wonderful career he had.And we enjoyed watching him dominate the low post for a long period of time.....

  • hard to imagine he was ever so skinny

  • i just replayed that dunk on parrish of the celtics 10 times thats nasty smh

mchale said chief leaned over to me and said i think its time u and i think about hanging it up mchale said i think u right chief

  • it's so strange seeing him run this fast

by now I'm so use to him running up the floor so slow and him looking so big

  • he's a force to reckon with... thanks Shaq for playing in my generation~

  • I am going to miss you alot! My Hero and who I have been looking up to the last 19 years. Thank you very much for everything you have done and thought me

  • wtf he broke 2 backboards in his rookie year?

  • @cookieboy17 Yes he did and he broke another one during a interview with Ahmad Rashad when he broke the glass all over himself

  • welcome to the 90's robert parish

  • It's a shame Shaq was too lazy to stay in the shape he was in during his first few years in the league because, in that form, he moved like few centers in the history of the league ever could! Just look at him taking it to the defense on fast breaks! Imagine what Shaq's stats could have been had he stayed in shape....

  • @zenjiros Who'd want a freak like that? I prefer the human being that he is much more.

  • Damn, Shaq's been around a long time if we're seeing highlights against Robert Parrish. lol

Gonna miss that fucker. Props to him for sticking around this long.

Back in the days, I remember he talked about taking a VERY early retirement. I'm glad he didn't, because it would have severely tarnished his legacy.

Big ups to Shaq from a NYKnick fan.

  • It's like shaquille o'neill with the body of a young shaquille o'neill! boo yah

  • dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk dunk. miss free throw.

  • JESUS he threw that down Cheifs throat at 0:55. What a beast Shaq was.

  • 0:30 Fastest nba player

  • 0:54. Sick.

  • The best backboard breaker I seen. Please Shaq do it one more time before you retire. :)

  • @badenaf777 type "salesman drops dildos in public" to see a salesman dropping dildos in public

  • @badenaf777 type "short guy spams" in the youtube search box to see a 3ft 1in midget spamming this message

  • Omg this was long time ago :D even white guys played in nba then :D

  • by looking at his rookie season, he might look like less than 300 lb. but as time passes by, he goes all the way up to 350+ lb! no doubt the biggest beast in NBA.

  • Who is the real superman ;-)?

  • dwight resembles a young shaq,

and hes going to follow his path, from no rings with the magic,

    with a ring in LA.

  • 1. Kareem 2. Shaq 3. Olajuwon 4. Russell 5. Wilt

  • :54 all i could say is "damn"

  • Man he was a beast..

  • I'M SO SAD THAT HE'S GOING TO RETIRE ATLEAST HE HAS HIS 4 RINGS. WE WILL MISS YOU SHAQ.

  • Even though I'm a Magic homer and huge fan of Dwight Howard I can say with utmost certainty that Shaq would mutilate him. Shaq in his prime was from another planet.

  • yeahh, uh huh, you know what it is

  • If Shaq was in his prime now, he would dominate the entire league.

  • damn shaq was a beast in him prime. he should have never let his fat ass go

  • 0:14 was scary

  • thats not travel 1:07 in nba rules one step before dribble

  • shaq > dwight

  • is it me, or does this young shaq seem like blake griffin? O_o

  • @hoopcrazy19

Is it me or are you a dumbass to put Shaq in Griffin's shoes?

  • @hoopcrazy19 I think you mean "does Blake Griffin almost resemble a young Shaq?" -- and the answer to that almost. Almost.

  • @hoopcrazy19 No he is ALOT bigger, is griffin 7'1 300???

  • So many broken rims.

  • looks like he had alot of fun his rookie year... this looked more like recess... like he's playing around with kids... to play with young Penny, Kobe, Wade, LeBron, Steve Nash and now with KG, Ray Allen and Pierce.. he's truly blessed and has had a fun career...

  • Veni Vidi Vici should first choice of words at his retirement speech

  • I wonder if Bynum could do the same what Shaq uesd to do

  • @27131king no need to wonder...Bynum can't and never will

  • please shaq stop hanging on the basket, we know that it can't handle you

  • CAN I GET THAT TRAVEL AT 1:07 ?! feet shuffle

  • Man he sounds like a boy but was still the man !!!

  • did he really bring down 2 courts literally in his rookie season???

  • if SHAQ is still in his YOUTH TODAY....definitely he will DOMINATE......!

  • is the man at 0:02 dead?

  • I love how he used to bring down backboards!

  • Diesel power! Most dominant center to ever play. He is the best don't kid yourself

  • 2:06 to 2:08 shaq made me laugh.

  • shaq before he discovered popeyes

  • no offense but scot skiles really looked a guy that just came out of a texas lost living room and jumped in into the tv and played ball LMAO

  • basketball is so boring ...we get 2 points ,they get 2 points ,we get 2 points ,they get 2 points for fuck sakes why cant the game just go for 5 mins instead of sitting there for an hour whatching this yoyo game

  • @endracismguy What the hell's the difference? aren't all sports like that?

  • @gio05 yes they are all dull should only go for 5 mins

  • @endracismguy same with most other sports LMAO and no its not 2 points then 2 points. Points are stopped WITH A THING CALLED DEFENSE

  • @ItsPeteDizzle i knew there was something else that made it so exciting and here i am thinking it was the mascots

  • :30 cameraman musta been scared as shit haha...i woulda been

  • if only we could re generate a carbon copy and insert him into the NBA today , Dwight would poop his pants.

  • Dude was a beast his rookie year... lean and quick... scary good.

  • its like shannon brown with Andrew Bynum's body, Jebus.

  • @eafsarg both of those players are not good though. So bad comparison.

  • @eafsarg Bynum without the bum knees.

  • @kklol7 not even close, Bynum should never be mentioned in the same sentence as Shaq. No where near the athleticism, post moves or feel for the game. He does have him in the free throw department.

  • @eafsarg thats dwight.

  • He was so athletic back then. If he hadn't gotten fat, and improved his free throw shot, he would have won more than just 4 rings.

  • Dwight Howard is not even better than rooke season Shaq and there was way more skilled centers than now.

  • imagine shaq being smaller so he would be able to play point guard.

  • Dwight Howard........Respect the architech.

  • not to mention that shaq hangs on him the rim to make his dunks seem more powerful. the top 5 hardest dunkers ever IMO are shawn kemp, lebron, blake, dwight, and shaq

  • @tonychoitellem No Dominique? Daryl Dawkins? Wow.

  • ON FIAH!

  • Does anybody know the song in the first seconds of the video????

  • that was crazy

  • the scoreboard need to be shaq proof

  • Greatest center ever!!!

  • I would give shaq a foul at his first block and told him to not climb up on anyone ever again 'cause............dam, that was sick

  • people forget that shaq could actually dripple a ball and how dominant he was when he first entered the league. BEAST

  • i miss shaq

  • If Blake Griffin would have been played the, he would destroyed every single basket with every dunk.

  • @justas7basket If Blake played that time, he would not get a single dunk.

  • @justas7basket Blake wouldnt have destroyed every single basket, you have to realize that Blake is only 250 pounds compared to Shaq's 310 pounds and Shaq was a much bigger guy.

  • @Rebound321 lol u dont understand. wen shaq first came into the league he was only 280-290 and thats really not that heavy for a legit 7'1 guy while blake is really only 6'8-6'9 at 250 with hardly any body fat. the blake now as a rookie is probably stronger then this rookie shaq

  • @tonychoitellem Dude dont make up numbers, search here on youtube " Shaquille O'Neal 1992 NBA Draft " and fast forward to 1:23 in that vid, his weight then was 303 pounds. 280 - 290 is heavy for a 7'1 guy, the only guy taller than 7'0 other than shaq that is above 280 pounds is Yao Ming and he's 7'6', no other 7'1 guy is really that close to 280 as you say isnt so heavy for a legit 7'1 guy. I highly doubt that rookie Blake is stronger than rookie Shaq. Shaq beasted the Ewings and Robinsons then

  • @tonychoitellem Haha why dont you go and suck off Griffin and his low body fat, O Neal was a once in a lifetime freak. He would bulldoze Griffin in the paint.

  • @pharry4life its not that hard to break the rim back then. mj didnt even hang on it and he broke it.

  • If only Shaq could have stayed this small he would still be dominating, but he couldn't put down the chicken wings!

  • hes had such a long career its amazing

  • BEST NBA HIGHLIGHT EVER !!!

  • 2:35 Manute Bol looks sooo trippy

  • Even when he was small he was big

  • i love the last part

  • @0:18 talk about bringing down the house..lol

  • No one ever was like him and never will be. He was unstopable, skilled. Greatest enterntainer too, but i dont think he will be an nba coach. He should be, but i dont think he will be.

  • press 3 lots of times = shaq getting fisted

  • WHAT A BEAST! forgot how good the diesel was! the first poster i ever owned was a shaq orlando poster. don't know what happened to it, but this video just motivated me to go and somehow find that exact poster!

  • Dwight Howard is a beat, the best center in basketball right now. But put him up against a young prime Shaq, Hakeem, Ralph Sampson, or even Wilt; and he would be just another very good center.

  • @soulchild3751 lol... ralph sampson...

and what do you mean even wilt.wilt would have owned shaq the way hakeem did!!!

  • @bettydaw1970 not really sure about that. Hakeen had propobly by far the best footwork out of all NBA centers in history, he schooled Shaq with his post moves, Wilt never had Hakeems moves. Wilt was a better player than Shaq though, Wilt led the league in assists one year(8.6 in 1968), he's also 4th in NBA history with 78 triple doubles, they didnt start counting blocks until Wilt retired.

  • @bettydaw1970 Wilt Chamberlin was the *gasp* Dwight Howard/Shaq of his day. But come on, you mean to tell me that Shaq and Dwight are not as agile and dominant as Wilt?? The only reason people call Wilt the most dominant big man ever is because put up numbers nobody had ever seen before on a routine basis, and nobody has yet to copy that. But that shouldn't be a surprise. Players in those days were not as tall, strong, athletic, or flat out GOOD as Chamberlin was. His competition was miniscule.

  • The only thing good about Dwight Howard is jumping, which is good for rebounding, blocks, and dunks. But Shaq was adept n playing like monster point guard? XD

  • I saw some videos when he's in LA....

but this is amazing... he was a monster.

  • god damn he got fat!

  • 1 word... agressive

  • 0:20 you know your good when the hoop bows down to you

  • he was like the young dwight howard at that time.. haha..

  • @anthony000ism no he wast u douchebag, he was better

  • I saw this and i was like whos that skinny guy running the floor hes a beast

  • R.I.P BACKBROADS LOL

  • 1:30 wtf is that a toothpick??

  • in the early 90's shaq was strong and quick but once he came to LA is when he was just flat out dominant

  • rookie shaq would kill dwight and any other good big men today include gasol and bynum

  • man shaq used to be agile

  • rookie stats of 23 pts and 14 rebounds in the 90's with David Robinson, Ewing, Robert Parish, Mourning, Olajuwon all in the paint....absolutely GORILLA!!

  • @emceemc1121 mike barnes'

  • @emceemc1121 ehm dikembe?

  • @emceemc1121 you make a great point. he was doing this with great big men on the court. now the traditional big man is almost non-existent. it's kind of boring to see all these 7' European jump shooters. i want to see some more power dunking!

  • @emceemc1121 don't 4get sabonis, mutombo, and rick smitts :)
