I didn't know that this video was directed by Thurston Moore until just a few minutes ago. Kind of awesome. But besides that fact, this is one of my favorite Pavement songs. Thanks, uploader. <3.
don't remember when exacally. But I remember him saying that pavement was one of his fav. That was the reason I ran to strawberries and brought this album. This was 20 years ago now. but I fell inlove with pavement

"retrato de esbirros y esclavos,
genios de entrepierna y los que se juegan la noche
son los únicos que se ríen
de los chistes cuando son tan malos,
y los chistes siempre son malos
pero no son tan malos como este
unanse a nosotros en una oración
que estaré esperando, esperando donde
todo se termine. aquí"..

The year is 2011.
I live in a rural-suburb county.
I grew up in the 90's, but became a teenager in 2000.
I didn't grow up with 90's rock.
But for some reason, this song just hits me in a tender spot.
It's like calling me to a funeral service or a church service.
Who's the service for? I don't know!
It's just we're here, and we have no idea why.
But it just "feels" right!

@poptothepopful pfft coldplay, as a top 40 band they're not bad, but next to a song like this, they're shallow like a muddy puddle ;-)

I'm the only one who laughs at the jokes when they are so bad...and your jokes are always bad...but they're not as bad as this.
There will never be another indie album like this.
