Wesker injects himself beforehand with a serum that William Berkin gave him. It revives him and gives him superhuman strength. There is a game based on his revival in RE1...I think it's called "The Umbrella Chronicles."

Hey,does Wesker only dies in Chris scenario? Because when I played with Jill,Barry knocked Wesker out and then when you go check out again,after fighing Tyrant,Wesker had run off. Tyrant didn't "kill" him.

The first time I played through this as Jill, I knew that this guy was coming up from what a friend showed me of the game and armed myself to a ridiculous degree (like Ripley when she's going down the elevator in Aliens). Like 20 of each type of grenade, a dozen magnum bullets, a few items that fully restore health, maybe the shotgun...

Barely got more than three magnum shots off or so and the thing went down. I was like, "You've gotta be kidding." Not as epic as my friend claimed...
