The Sabbath HAD to END because the OLD Covenant ended on the Cross. You cannot place New Cloth onto an Old Garment, see Luke 5:36. You cannot put New Wine into Old Wineskins, see Luke 5:37-38. What does this mean? It means Old Covenant Laws do not go into the New Covenant Agreement and New Covenant Laws do not go into the Old Covenant Agreement. The Sabbath is the Old Wine. The Holy Spirit is the New. See Ephesians 1:13, Ephesians 4:30. The Seal of the New Covenant is the HOLY SPIRIT.

Acts 20:7 tells us the Christians came together on the 1st Day of the Week to break-bread, meaning to celebrate the Eucharist (the Last Supper). Why didn't they do this on the Sabbath? Because Jesus Resurrected on SUNDAY. Sunday is the Day of our Redemption. What does Jesus say in John 6:53? Which is more important - the Eucharist or the Sabbath?

The Sabbath HAD to END because the OLD Covenant ended on the Cross. You cannot place New Cloth onto an Old Garment, see Luke 5:36. You cannot put New Wine into Old Wineskins, see Luke 5:37-38. What does this mean? It means Old Covenant Laws do not go into the New Covenant Agreement and New Covenant Laws do not go into the Old Covenant Agreement. The Sabbath is the Old Wine. The Holy Spirit is the New. See Ephesians 1:13, Ephesians 4:30. The Seal of the New Covenant is the HOLY SPIRIT.

Acts 20:7 tells us the Christians came together on the 1st Day of the Week to break-bread, meaning to celebrate the Eucharist (the Last Supper). Why didn't they do this on the Sabbath? True Sabbath Rest is only found in Jesus Christ.

That means I must love my neighbour NOT as I can love him but as JESUS Himself Loves Him - that means with a PERFECT Love. If the 10 Commandments are adequate then why did Jesus give us this NEW Commandment? Can you see how this New Commandment transcends EVERYTHING? The Law is about Love. Love fulfills ALL the requirements of the Law! See Romans 13:10.
