You forgot to include many brainwashing things such as a Playstation, a TV showing jackass, Paris Hilton, gay pride, technoparade, modern art, a poster of Madonna, etc. All things that makes our modern world so beautiful, so authentic.
Some nice visual storytelling touches and a pomo "story in story-- or is it" motif. I'd amp up the weirdness and vanity of the tech examples that shock the Amish guy. Coffeemaker and land line and light bulb just aren't quite there for me. But nice storyboarding and direction.
Well I'm guessing the point on this vid was to stretch your legs as a storyteller, and you did quite well there. For more outlandish props, there's always next time.
Wow, this reminds me of a hangover I had last week after drinking like a fish for eight straight hours at the Middlefield Town Tavern. I passed out in my buggy and I thought the horse was taking me home. I ended up in some town called Warren, Ohio. Type it into You Tube and see what comes up...it's a REAL nightmare!!!!!
I think you confused the Amish with mountain people and using a Shaker hymn for musical background. These are not part of the whole.
