hi. im debating whether i should spend 200$ at the canon store to get one haha.

do either the zoom or the focus ring turn? and i saw a picture of one on the net i htink it may have been knock off because the focus window was cockeyed and crooked like it was a sticker. whatis it actually like?

@tbarabash Hey - neither the focus or zoom rings move, but they are made of metal.

The focus window is a sticker, it's thick plastic, kind of like a gel coated rubberized sticker.

The black base is rubber, the "mount" is plastic, and appears to be glued to the metal mug body.

Hope it helps. I saw one of these original genuine mugs sell on eBay for $182.50, insane!

@NSTrainFan That's all I paid for my original gift wrapped mugs (x2). Some of the knockoffs are terrible, plastic construction and the lid has no hole in it do drink from. I've seen perfect knockoffs too, though, but they were $40 before they got here.

How do u find the material of the mug, does it feel solid? heavy?

I have a lot of various travel mugs. The thing I notice most about the Canon mug is that the insulation is not the best I've seen, but better than a plastic constructed mug.
