I personally don't see how being saved is a as simple as repent for your sins, confess for your sins, and accept jesus as your personal savior because he died for your sins. Because then that would make it seem that all sin no matter how big of offense is wiped clean away just as long as you say, "I'm sorry I'll promise ill never do it again." And if that was the case then Adam and Eve could have apologized and just easily gotten back into the garden of eden with a simple "my bad."

The christian says Jesus is God, and Jesus was crucified. So, if he IS God and God WAS crucified, did he suffer and felt pain when he was crucified and tortured? Will God allow Himself to get tortured by human and feel the pain without any power to prevent himself from feeling pain? I personally don't see how being saved is a as simple as repent for your sins, confess for your sins, and accept jesus as your personal savior because he died for your sins. Because then that would make it seem that all sin no matter how big of offense is wiped clean away just as long as you say, "I'm sorry I'll promise ill never do it again." And if that was the case then Adam and Eve could have apologized and just easily gotten back into the garden of eden with a simple "my bad."

It's only an open rebellion against God if the person does it in open rebellion against God. And why don't you just pray for them instead instead of picking up fights with them? Luke wrote his gospel as a good idea to write. It's very strange to make out of PERSONAL letters a word of God. Can you tell me the teachings of Jesus in James' Book? You wouldn't find any of the churchman's stuff in that true book of James.

Okay if that was true then wherefore is 1Cor.3:9 written? Or think of it this way....what did Jesus say in John 20:21?
Jn.20:21-Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.
So if ONLY GOD ALMIGHTY can do the JOB of GOD ALMIGHTY, and this is your reasoning to say Jesus is GOD ALMIGHTY then wherefore did He send the disciples? Are they GOD ALMIGHTY also?

@Sasuke90000000 Hello Sasuke, he prayed to the father. As a man, Jesus subjected himself to the will of the father exclusivly. I used to wonder the same thing until I kept reading the scriptures over and over. VERY good question.

I think people don't understand me when I say Jesus is God, the catholic church has misinformed many people, because when they pray the say "Mary mother of God", but God does not have a mother, he is everlasting, no beginning of days and no end to life, God "manifested" himself in human flesh (Jesus Christ),for Jesus said I do nothing of myself but it is the father who does the work,
It was God dwelling IN Jesus who was doing all the work, that why Jesus said
there is none good except one, God

All you have is TWISTED verses to justify the pagan god/savior invented by the bishops of 1st Council of Nicea, 325 yrs after Jesus. Your Christianity was made there; it's called The Catholic Creed. Jesus was born of a mother called Mary, so if u think he's god, then Mary is the mother of god.

@MsJoy4ever U can say whatever u want, but JESUS did NOT say:"I am the manifest of God or God in human form". God said in the OT that man is NOTHING, a worm. God said in the OT that God is NOT a man. How can you defy these explicit teachings? Seeing the Father means understanding/knowing the Father, NOT physical seeing. Jesus NEVER preached unto the Gentiles.

@MsJoy4ever I don't have to ask. Who says Jesus is God other than the Christians. Isa 9.6 talks about a son is born to the family AT THAT TIME, NOT later.This son is CALLED (Not he is) these NAMES. Again, just NAMES. This son was NOT called Jesus to relief us. Jesus did NOT last; he does NOT exist on this earth=he is dead. The Roman kings are called god. There are a lot of men called who are CALLED Jesus, but they are not the real Jesus. These names represent wishes.

@jamool2009 Yes I am a Christian, but I don't associate myself with Constantine the Great Christianity, for the bible says "be ye holy for I am holy", The bible doesn't say my religion is Christianity so I don't say it, but Peter did use the term Christian by saying "if anyone suffers as a Christian do not be ashamed", So yes I am a Christian, you really need to study your history before you try to correct someone, man-made religion did not come from God, Holiness is what the bible teaches =)

Jesus didn't have a church; he didn't call his followers christian; he taught in temples as a Jew; he didn't ask them to have or read a bible; he didn't change Moses' law and the prophets before him.Were the Christians in the dark ages holy when they apply the bible? You read your own church dark history.:Are Num 31:17-18 ,Josh 6:17-21 holy? Jesus didn't object.

Some believers were even called Nazarenes, they also titled their faith calling it "The Way", Are you saying the disciples and apostles were wrong for using these titles, and Jesus did have a church its called "his body", and the disciples would meet in each other homes to preach and teach the gospel, remember the holy spirit came upon them in the upper room, not the temple.

The bible I read is the king James bible with Apocrypha, I know that the catholic church removed the Apocrypha but most Protestant bibles have it. Also we are not under the letter of the law but the spirit of the law, we are under a new covenant not like the old one, read Jer 31:31

@MsJoy4ever The "Mighty God" translation is just one possibility. This type of differences in translation exists throughout the Hebrew language, where words' meaning change depending on the sentence. That is why there is no one single solid Bible Translation!. Theologians have difficulties agreeing on some key issues in translations. That's why we see so many different Bibles with so many different translations

He said his words will be ur judge on the Last DAY. So, Can you tell me what Jesus said about himself in the early gospels: Mark, Matt and Luke? If this is the CORE of ur belief, why is it not clearly stated in early gospels:Mark, Matt and Luke? Jesus is a messenger of God. In John 14:24: "These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who SENT me." Jesus is a SERVANT of God in Mat 12:18; as Peter said in Acts 13:13, 3:26; he is the Messiah Mark 8:27-29; Acts 5:41. He is NOT God.

u r misleading the ppl, all the verses that u'd mentioned are true. but ur conclusion is not. there's no such thing in the bible that Jesus is a personal savior and just believing on Him will be saved. Like this, Joh 8:31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; Mat 10:22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.
