I'll say something weird: I used to like scenes where the character was tortured, you know, poor man, brought out the nurse/sister/mother/lover in me, but... I feel strange right now. Maybe because fire hurts like hell, maybe because I've recently spent 30 straight hours awake looking after my grandmother after serious surgery... I didn't like watching Billy/RA in pain. Who would like causing/watching a living being in pain anyway? Great series though! :)

In the beginning he seems striaght but later on after the boy dies I think he's assumed to be gay. We are left to wonder.

I know what you mean KgrK13. That scene in the woods during the first season of Robin and this scene! I was crying and saying "No, don't do it. Don't do it!" when that blow torch came out. I wonder if Richard Armitage knows how much his fans care about his charcters be they good or bad.

To briefly explain, George investigates the deaths of 2 boys. The guy who tortures RA is the dad of one of them, Billie, and he killed the other boy. Billie was very young and impressionate and worshipped RA's character, in fact, he was in love with him :0)

Luckily, George found them before anything really bad happened.

Yes! That certainly helps. I gathered that the Billie character loved RA's, I just didn't understand the torture! Now it make smore sense. Did RA's character kill Billie?

On a side note, I LOVE your Gisborne clips. I'm living off of them here in the U.S.. We don't get S2 till April!

To answer your question, RA didn't kill Billie, quite the opposite. He cared and nurtured the poor kid and even returned his affections to a small extent. This evil man, Billie's father, is a cold-blooded killer who couldn't deal with the fact that his son was gay, and thought RA molested him - so he decided to punish him for that. I suspect he's just a sadist who likes torturing people.

In the meantime, does't RA look FANTASTIC? :0)

Lol, thanks for all the info. As for how RA looks, YES, he looks fabulous. I'm always impressed with how tall and powerful he appears. He is quite tall, but he's also broad-shouldered and strong, so he jsut has a commanding screen presence. I bvetter stop before I start drooling on the keyboard ;)
