What i did was i found a ramp that wasn't too vertically tilted. Then i got my friend to hold my board for me, i ran off the ramp and did a regular no-boarded backflip. then progress to a boarded flip

I probably wouldn't try it till the end of the season, or unless i fins a hill near me with lotssss of powder on a back country slope, all the hills near me are machine groomed and there hasn't been too much snow fall :(

build a short quarter pipe and try a backflip on that first it will be way easier to get the feel because it does half the work alls u have to do is commit to looking over ur shoulder to add spin and straight over for a reg flip good luck

theres a nice place in vermont with a foam pit at the bottem of the ramp. thats where i learned to backflip...hell i learned everything i know with that foam pit. For people begginning or people just attempting new things, go with the foam pit so you don't break anything, i've seen it happen lol. aight (oh yea wear a helmit! your not an expert)
