They are giving people cholesterol drugs which is drying up their brains of cholesterol and causing Alzheimer’s. risk of Alzheimer’s doubles every year after the age of 65, I guess because that age is when the doctors give cholesterol drugs. Do research on it
I was given the highest dose, 45mg,beause there were no warnings out yet,The side effects come on in about 4 weeks and get worse rapidly. Please take another pill like Lipitor in small doses.

ben, i'm so sorry that you went through this, but you have to understand that drug formulations are in Phase IV of testing when they get to the general public. that means that they've been found to be safe and effective for the LARGE MAJORITY of people. that does NOT preclude the possibility of individual adverse reactions. individual genetic tendencies really can't be accounted for during phase I-II of clinical trials, and they SHOULDN'T be, or no drug would ever make it to the public.
Hello, I just met u today at Office Depot, I have to say I have not stopped thinking about our conversation and how quite possibly the pain in my legs and fatigue as well as palpitations I quietly experience are because of the use of Crestor for over a period of 6 months. I suffer quietly because I'm not a complainer I just deal w/ the pain. I identified with much of what u had to say and I will NOT take Crestor any longer. I will do my homework from now on before taking the medications.
How long did you take crestor before you noticed any side effects? I have been taking it for 30 days and I do notice some slight muscular pain or aches.
@slicksta362 Thank you for your interest in Crestor treatment. I started feeling weak iin the legs and in my arms after about a month or month and a half. Then it became brutal. Of coarse there is no pain in the kidneys when they're going so I never gave them a 2nd thought until I went to doctor when I got home. Please have yourself checked out by somebody other than your doctor and get more than one opinion good luck

It prompted me to find out more about crestor . After reading so many bad side effects experienced by other patients, it makes me wonder why doctors recommend this "medication". Rhabdomyolysis leading to kidney failure is not uncommon with this drug. It's just not worth the damn gamble.

Sorry, not true. I was on Lipitor for a year, no problem. My doctor gave me Crestor ,the highest dose for three months and I lost my muscle use and my kidneys, which were normal at the time, failed.

Sorry, not true. I was on Lipitor for a year, no problem. My doctor gave me Crestor ,the highest dose for three months and I lost my muscle use and my kidneys, which were normal at the time, failed.
