Wow....with all the Obama broohaha, I forgot how much better it is than when Bush was in DC. I can't believe he actually thinks he did a good job as President? People can't use the "he kept us safe!" line: the Patriot Act did more damage to our democratic system than a terrorist ever could. The Iraq war was retarded, too: Iraq never attacked us. Period. I'm so insulted by the Bush/Cheney mantra that "they kept us safe". 9/11 was an unprecendented failure in US security, and that was followed up by Al Qaeda attacks on Bali, London and Madrid.

How can they gloat about 4 historic attacks by the same terror organizations against us and our allies that they claim is under control?  They act like the lives of Brits, Spaniards and Indonesians are superfluous as long as Americans aren't getting killed at home.

That, of course, leaves out Iraq....

I would just respectfully point out to Mr Taibbi that Bush was not elected twice, he "won" the 2000 election through voter suppression and legal maneuvering, and the 2004 election through voter suppression and apparent vote flipping. He was never legitimately elected.
