I have 2 pugs and 2 cats. The cats take off running, and the pugs just can't even help themselves.. they run after the poor cats. I yell.."Hey, now!! Stop it!!" Yeah, like that's gonna help. The cats are faster than the dogs and get out of the way. All in the life of dogs and cats. They love each other, they just love to romp around.
pugs do love cats, but most cats would rather fold, spindle, and mutilate a pugs face (even worse) for them...o well, i'm sure the pug will find somebody else to play with!
Would you believe that in the last week, the CAT has been the one initiating play and the PUG is the one ignoring her most of the time???? The pug will be walking across the floor and the cat bounces out behind her playfully trying to get her tail. It's the funniest thing in the world!

reminds me of my pug (tink) and cat (sabriena). they do the same thing but the pug gets scrathed a lot lol very funny what those ugly dogs do.

Really, that's a "i wanna play" bark. Pugs love cats. It's a rule of nature. My cat and pug are the same way EVERY day.
