Tabs are tabulator. guitar tabs have numbers showing what fret to hold down on what string. (ie:

-1-------

--2------

---3-----

----4----

-----5---

------6--

would mean play 1st string 1st fret, 2nd string second fret, 3rd string 3rd fret, etc.)
