Ha ha, Grandma is cool. She knows enough not to touch Iggy when he is head-bobbing. As far as free-range lizards, I personally couldn't bear to keep our Baby in a cage. She pretty much stays in her lair until its time to potty, and we have arrangements for that. Then she gets to explore a little, and always goes to the window to take a look, then its back up to her ledge. Sometimes I change the path back up, just for variety...
That was hilarious without sound. I made my own soundtrack. The iguana was guarding the house and kept grandma in her room. Well, granny didn't like that and gave that iguana what for! She said she'd sick the cat on him if he didn't chill out.
You should not leave adult iguanas alone around the house. It is much easier for the iguana to pick up deises and such when they are no in an inclosure. You should buy a cage at least 1 1/2 times as long as your iguana and make sure the cage is very high. Good Luck!!!
Hi i was wondering of buying an adult iguana, is it ok to leave them around the house all the time ?, cause im not to fussed to buy a massive enclosure, infact ! can you keep them in a small enclosure overnight and from 8-4 then take them out from 4 - 12 or something
Hi. its best to have a large enclosure or a small room.
I recommend emailing my brother the lizard expert jackgoldfarbdotcom He can tell you about other lizards that are nice and dont require so much care or such a large cage!
