bubblez' timeline sounds a bit kornfused to me (har har) since Rise Against and Strike anywhere didn't release anything until after 2000 and Korn and Limp Bizkit were huge on MTV in like 94-96 (alongside greenday, blink and offspring) but I hear ya all the same. NOFX of course hates metal. I like both so to me it's a shame they never seem to get along, There is a place for metal and a place for punk in my heart, and some of the best bands are a blend (like Strung Out, old Thrice etc.)
