i disagree... I think Lisa shown amazing courage to do this dance. it was different and Brendon has been known to cause controversy. the judges comments would have been interesting and i did want them 2 win!! Also someof the moves do look extremely difficult.

Also, people say this was too difficult for Lisa but it was even too difficult for Brendan! Look at his struggling to do the fold-up lift section at 1:24! That whole move was a nightmare, right up to the heel stretch which was truely ungraceful.

Not only pretentious, but also unintentionally funny and 'dead swan'-ish. Lisa's bent, gangly legs look so awkward during this dance. I feel a bit sorry for Lisa and she probably thought, in training, that it was a good showdance. But watching Rachel and Tom doing theirs afterwards probably made her feel quite embarressed. They should have had a more upbeat number, maybe with some Vienese and Quickstep instead of this hilarious sexy-fail.

Thgis dance was sheerly for Brendan's ego.

They clearly as a pair did not like the fact they came 3rd and thus wanted to prove to the audience that we were wrong for voting the out of the competition, but sadly they couldn't see past either inflated ego to witness that having tried to prove us wrong they looks spiteful and sore losers. Plus after that awful 'show dance' display they proved the viewing public right it was more show yourself up dance for them!

Really don't like her outfit and, if I remember correctly, Brenden just used the moves from the one that was showcased the week before with the professional couple.

I think he made it a bit hard for her and not tainted towards her abilities.

This is hilarious! I had also forgotten how bad it was. The best way to watch it, is without any sound, from 1:16 onwards. It is more funny, when it isn't set to any music. I'd love to know what Bredan thought about it when he watched it back!

Had to watch this again to remind myself just how awful it was, but it was the best laugh on tv at Christmas. From the start of the struggle for Brendan trying to lift her up his body, to the "look at my crotch everyone" spin through to the magical "I look like I have worms" floor drag, it was the most hilarious freestyle I've ever seen. Fantastic, thank God it was put on youtube, so now I can appreciate it time after time, whenever I need a good chuckle!

i disagree with some of the comments here. i think the dance was brilliant and defenetly takes alot of hardwork and dedication. i bow down to Lisa, she has come so far... some of those moves looked very difficult. and it can take a while for your body to become flexible to achieve. A very good try!!!! Lisa got better each week and so deserved to win!

Come on people, there were some very difficult lifts in there, and keep in mind that Lisa is as tall as Brendan, maybe even taller in heels. How easy is it supposed to be when he's swinging her around in the air? You've got to give them credit for the energy and passion they attacked it with. I don't think it's as awful as everyone's making it out to be.

It's not that easy doing lifts when your partner is nearly as tall as you. But in that case you should not try and do a showdance so utterly at odds with your partner's ability.

Badly choreographed by Brendan, he should have played to Lisa's strengths (as Camilla FINALLY did to Tom's, and I speak as a non-fan of Camilla who didn't actually like their showdance... but at least it suited Tom).

Well, I have to respectfully disagree. A quick example-she put pivots, at least 2 sets, in the waltz, despite the fact that he clearly wasn't very good at them (they made his bottom stick out, even a relative novice like myself could see that), & in the samba she choreographed lots of shimmies, which he equally wasn't good at. That is not playing to someone's strengths. Even as a self confessed Camilla fan, can you not see those were also not great decisions? Her showdance did work well however.

Yes, i do realise she did put a few things in that weren't great for him, but shimmies are a basic salsa step and they are practically compulsory!! As are pivots in a waltz, However You are entitled to your own opinions and i'm not going to argue with you about them, although i do have to disagree with you, I think Camilla's choreography is amazing which is one of the reasons I think she's so great! :D x

I have seen decent waltzes without lots of pivots, and she certainly didn't need to put two sets in - or if she was going to, she needed to make sure he could perform them correctly.

And I was talking about shimmies in the samba, not the salsa. Though again, she did not need to overuse them when he wasn't good at them.

But hey, each to their own. I can't see how someone's choreo is amazing if they don't choreo to their partner, but we all see/like different things in the pro dancers.

It;'s so bad I was half expecting Bonnie Tyler to pop up with blinding white light behind her. It just goes to show as in many types of proffessions having ideas is important. It,s no good being a great dancer if your choreography stinks. Technical abilty is only one part. Both Lisa's and Rachel's dance partners created some really bad choreography for the free style dancers and cost Rachel from winning.

All those 80s arm movements made me blush. The whole thing along with the music choice was so dated and had no STYLE. Makes Tom's performance all the more memorable in omparasion. This was the best showdance there, Lisa danced like a true professional and her outift was not only gorgeous but also fitted the dance perfectly. Tom and Camilla's showdance was good, but I much prefer Lisa and Brendan's I reckon it is at LEAST as good as Darren Goghs! Lisa shoould have stayed 'til the end and judging on this dance and the fact that she's the best technical dancer, lifted that trophy.
