he is absolutely right, of course. i'm a 16 year old girl, and i adore and worship both blake's 7 and paul darrow playing avon. i'm watching b7 32 years after it was first shown. it will always live on.

I never missed an episode of Blakes 7. Its is the best thing to come out of Great Britain. Back in my Uni days, I use to make up any excuse to watch Blake's 7 rather than go out. Well done BBC and cast.
Blakes 7 is still worthy watching today, in same vain as Hogans Heroes, whose humour is still funny 40 years on
Managed to pick up all four DVD box sets in a charity shop recently, so this is the first time I've watched series 2, 3 and 4 in over 25 years... they're right - the questionable FX just don't matter. What great characters!!
Awsome. 100% an English man. Wish more of todays brain dead kids were more like this pure gentlaman. The BBC are fools for killing this show off. Shame on them for never repeating it.
@MrWombatPPC He's a little mistaken as the last season was shown again in 1983. The BBC were then hampered for years by excessively high repeat fees due to agreements with the actors' union. In 1999 they negotiated a lower rate for particular hours and there were some repeats of the earliest episodes on Saturday afternoons but they stopped after a while.

I met him at a convention, nothing arrogant about him at all. In fact he spent ages chatting to me and telling jokes over a pint....great guy !!

How the hell does a Thespian train as a computing genius, and get mixed up with a crew like that!?
