I recently discovered Citizen Cope, and I really like his style of hip-hop and a kind of bluesy instrumentality, with piano and other instruments as an active part of the music instead of a background beat. Is there a sub-genre name for that kind of music?

LazarusDurden, Thomas Sowell's Basic Economics book is pretty straight forward and probably the least ideological of all his books. It has been praised even by liberal economists as one of the best books explaining economics in common language. I think Sowell is just a conservative not a neo-con. Sowell book are eurocentric because a major part of economic history is European.

And I say eurocentric in the fact as he doesn't just state Europe was a changing force in world affairs, but that it changed things for the better. I think indigenous populations would disagree. There's a difference between objective historical analysis and one that you make to justify your own worldview. Sowell tends to do the later.
