  • No it was built to withstand Plane Attacks, not Terrorism. Fire never melts steel at 1500 degrees. Never. Only at 2000 and above. Fire didnt last long enough to weaken the whole building from one concentrated area. The inner core of the building was unscathed from these attacks. But "Terrorism" knows no bounds.

  • Yes the WTC was graded for plane crashes but not graded for long exposure to high heat and the amount of force generated from the impact of the planes would have sheared away any fire protection
