Is it just me or does that 3d model like the basic model going around with the werehog texture? The ending part looked ok but the 3d model needs more work. :)
So when's this coming out? I really hope they fix up Sonic before it's released. His quills are too dark. He looks like he got stuck in the middle of his "werehog" transformation.

ok i watched eddie lebron's version of mega man. i liked the way the story was put together it developed really well and the characters were really developed (minus mega man's sister... she sucked). The only one problem i had was that the CGI was very primitive... CGI'd version of Sonic from him scares me, although the trailer already makes me feel better, looks better than mega man. lets just hope mr lebron's CGI technique has improved since megaman and keeps improving throughout this film.

@EvilgidgitReturns Actually from what Eddie said in a Q&A - Jaleel was actually able to make do his Sonic voice from 20 years ago, but he wanted him to age the voice to be like 18-20 years old so that it was a little more mature.

Very little of it is of any substance, in this case Sonic picking up a ring. Seriously, if this is all the director can show off after all this time, the project is either going to fail or be released some time in 2134.

@FindTheComputerRoom Yeah, I agree also. The fur is a bit too dark blue. If it is lightened up a bit, then it will look better I think. Other than that, I think it's going to be pretty good!
@FindTheComputerRoom I think they tried to mke it look the same but then realistic also. The part that botherers me the most about the model is the spikes. But I get it that real hedgehogs have the spikey hair so they thought to add that realisitic touch. I think they did a great job on Sonic. but the hair is kinda dark.

gorgeous model. Sonic is a hedgehog people, he wouldn't be smooth and since it is live action, they're going for a realistic look. Looks fantastic and good quality cg.

Overall, the model is more of the same that we're used to getting at this point, though I REALLY like what you did with his mouth, not just slapping it on the side of his face like Sega has been. This way, it just feels more natural. Though, I have to say.... DAMN, his pupils are TINY. So much, that he almost looks downright menacing and hard to connect with. I realize it's a little too late now, but I wish his pupils were bigger so he'd look more soulful and cheery.
Oh one last request for a change (This one is less technical and more of a personal opinion), bt I really don't like the orchestrated version of the classic theme! that particular version sounds exceptionally cheesy, but there are other versions wwhich sound epic! Anyway, Acely done, man!
Very nice, but my only complain is that his fur is such a dark shade of blue lol! I can stand a couple of tecniccal glitches with the spines, but I seriously thought "WTF is he a werehog?" lol! Just a lighter shade of blue to:
1: Make him seem less threatening/more.... I guess cuter? lol.
2: Get the true look of the classic Sonic from Satam :)
for number 1 i wouldn't think about that, all the cartoons like scooby-doo, Yogy Bear, E.C.T. were ugly as hell in real life just look at the smurf cast!!!
and for number two since this is live action, sonic needed the modern-dayish look, it may needed the eye color, the style of the shoes (should of used the soap shoes from Sonic Adventure 2) E.C.T
also the sonic satam style in real life... the mow-hawk make it really ugly in real life (but that's just me)
