  • Wonderful story.. $500!

  • Bless the Lakota. Shame on our government for treating them as they do. Everyone could afford a home if they could build this way.

  • Where can i go to work my butt off to learn? I am willing to change labor for knowledge, the good ol barter system has worked lot longer then the monetary system we have now. I am very interested in building my own home using cob and would appreciate any help i can get on the subject.

  • It is time to work WITH nature and not against nature. These houses are wonderful and we have one here in the Quezon, Philippines.

  • I've just watched all your postings, i dont really have adequate words to express my admiration for you. I too am a single mum and have worried about housing but, like you, i've (thankfully)never experienced the suffering of these strong and beautiful people. I read 'wounded knee' and 'black elk speaks' many years ago and they made me ashamed to be white. You and your companions have started the process of making things better for them, something the u.s. government could never do.Thankyou x

  • I used to be ashamed to be white untill i realised it wasnt my family who did this crap. I and my family have always been poor since arrival to this country. The key is we need to unite, all good people of all races to get done what it is we think needs to be done.

  • The Natraja in the background is awesome! Where did you get that amazing statue?

  • from an import store in santa cruz. truly an amazing find. there is a twin, directly behind me. I cannot remember its name. So many years ago.

  • She is just awesoooome... ..in this video she expalained WHY COMMUNITIES as an alternative to CAPITALISSMM .. basing great truths of present as PROOF we need Nothing else or any other argument against accepting Community living and Self sustainability ... Do we ???

  • I think you are confusing Capitalism, Consumerism and Corporatism.

Building communities, and capitalism is not persay in conflict.

Free Markets on an individual level in a global community can totally empower people. Think of the world of knowledge sites like amazon and ebay have opened up for people :)

  • ... Oh truly truly my dear friend ..1stly I am afriad of any kind of debates .. YOu know we people do often misinterpret each other, Yet ltes see... MY dear NO NO NO .. CAPITALISM and COMMUNITY LIVING are absolutely absolutely OPPOSITE... OH comeone community living is SHARING not competeing ..yes?? and today I dont know why people are living in what different world .. consumerism and corporatism are Naturall corollary of capitalism ...

  • ... and may be I am like a lay man who does not know technical differences but dear under this viel of ' liberalism' we think we are really evolved and modren ..but Comeon we will attain freedom NOT with any kind of Free trade or free competition BUT WITH TRUE CO-OPERATIOn Not COMPETEION !... this is what communitiy living is!I know I will look like an egoist brat saying these things YET we cannot deny truth GLOBAL MARKETS are not at all empowering YOU need proofs OH just see at your NATIVES

  • Can we see what these houses look like?

  • Yes! Please show the house and talk about how you built it!

  • yes, just go to the housing pages, and follow the links to cob houses and more cob houses...so much is hidden in these pages! Make it a treasure hunt!!! HAVE FUN!
