KumikoAbyella, the key is to use lots of lights, more than you think you might need. Start close to the trunk and weave in and out from the trunk towards the outside.
Such a wonderful tree!! Wonderful bows!! I am curious about the lights...how you put them...it would be great if you could tell me that...I always have a hard time doing it. Thank you
Hi, Thanks for your previous response. I have another question about the streamers. Do you bring them to the bottom of the tree? It's hard to see the whole tree in the video. I am using two kinds of wine ribbon...one with a gold design in it and one with gold on the edges...do you think some gold shoestring bows would look okay with those? I have victorian ornaments. Thanks so much. Your tree is just beautiful and I really enjoyed the video. Your instructions are so clear! :)
@judithe100 Decorating with the ribbon , it is nice to bring some of the streamers through to the bottom, however not all of them have to come to the bottom, your color choices sound lovely.and I certainly think gold shoestring bows would look wonderful!!
I am glad the video was a help, I do a lot of designing, decorating flower arranging etc, but my favorite of all is teaching, so your comments are greatly appreciated! I would love to see a picture of your tree
I was about to decorate my tree and then saw this video with the beautiful ribbon on the tree. Now after seeing this I don't like my ribbon anymore! I love the ribbon you used because it looks so light and airy....it looks like it is white with silver but you mentioned a green color. Where did you buy your ribbon?
Hi Judithe100. I'm the producer of the video but to answer your question, Alice owns a ribbon company, there is a link at the beginning of the video. The ribbon you are referencing is called Anastasia green ice and unfortunately is not on the website so you would need to e-mail or call them which is under the contact information on the website.
THANK YOU for this video, this is so helpful...I will send you a pic of my tree inspired by yours, will be buying a real tree and will put it together after Thanksgiving...Feliz Navidad!!
This tree is beautiful!! Where can I find the ice garland that you ahve on your tree?
