I LOVE this theme my first time playing this game i didn't get the idea of just running and hiding. *having played games like resident evil and silent hill before* so the whole time i was running i was like "WTF where are some weapons to unload into this creepy little man" oh and the places he could ambush you from. i just got one question... A REALLY hard game to get into. Heavily story based so you don't get those really cool scenario bits you'd rather be playing for the story because honestly I was in for playing a horror game like the first game for the SNES not a BOOK.

Also, they love endings too much (there's about 13). That sucks. I don't play games to focus on ending them.

Would have been an awesome game if they would have focused more on the game aspect rather than reading for hours with gameplay lasting barely a minute.

i went on ebay and bought this game for 20 bucks, then when it came it had the case, manual and artwork, but the game i got was wrong, instead i got the fucking struggle within (not a bad game). and b4 you tell me i shouldve looked more carefully, i did, and it said nothing about the struggle within. but hey atleast i dont have to shell out 60 bucks for it. but i definately want to play this, it looks like the kind of game that deserves more love, and hopefully that movie comes out.

Dude, the first Clock Tower game was released only in Japan for the SNES and for the PC in the mid 90's, so when Clock Tower 2 came out, someone thought it was a good idea (yeah right) to release it in the U.S. like if it was the first game in the series, and therefore, that equals international confusion.

This is the real Clock Tower 2. This was not the same as Ghost Head/Struggle Within. North America and Europe never got the first one. It makes sense in a way, why would they release Clock Tower on Ps1 as Clock Tower 2 no one would bought it since they never heard of the first. This same fate was granted to Final Fantasy series.

Clock Tower (SNES) and Clock Tower 2 (This one) were the only ones that had a related story. Ghost Head/ Struggle within and 3 were different games entirely.

Well I do think that silent hill got it right with Shattered memories. The scares themselves where to be looked for alot (reffering to the hauntings) and the plot is fantastic and can actually be connected with the plot of silent hill unlike the ass shaving origins or the painfully avarrege homecoming (it may be so that silent hill 1 & 3 are just a part of cheryl's fantasy's but that's just on how you look at it)

In this game it's Story story story story story gamepl- oh wait more story.

Just hours and HOURS and HOURS of reading until you finally start playing the very reason why this game is so much fun, until you realize it's over and the next level is just a few more hours on the way.

Then you reach a bad ending on the third level so it's time to start over.

Did you play the SNES version of clock tower. It was actually the only clock tower that actually scared me and it still does making it my scariest games of all time. The reson is because unlike the 3 games after that it didn't suffer from any silly factor or unintimidating villans (due to either design or the actual models and animation) the SNES version of clock tower is all just basic and it works really well. Allsow the first one doesn't have any rediculous magic shit.
