  • Congratulations Jesse awesome to see a fellow Torres Strait Islander following his dreams and making it happen. All the best in finals bala.

    Aaron Fa'Aoso

  • Good luck to him... sounds like a good kid. To bad he is being ask some silly questions.

  • LOL. His Aussie accent is EXTREMELY mild; it comes and goes. Good on ya, mate!! : )

  • He's shit get a haircut he ain't gona make the nfl

  • Bamas gunna roll LSU

  • @tomucaat Yes you're right it isnt big there, however alot of people simply think it doesnt exist there at all and believe its not played anywhere else but america. But im glad you enjoy the sport. Good luck in your upcoming season.

  • he's from australia.... not mars lol

  • This is exactly why its awesome to have gridiron played overseas. There are some aussies to despise american football and hate the fact that it exist there, but if it hadnt this opportunity wouldnt have happened for him. Aussies need to support gridiron over there.

  • @91gt306 We have AFL, NRL, NSL and the ARU all played at the highest level we don't need nor have room for a fith type of pro football. Not even the USA has as many types of football competing for the fans attention and money.

  • @taipan185 I think you must have misread my post. I dont expect it to be at a high level there at all because in reality there wont be much support there for it. However it does exist just enough for other people who dont play to play those other sports to play something else. Its the same here not everyone wants to play football, basketball or baseball and some play others that may not be as supported like soccer and rugby. Im just happy for this kid, hes a real talent.

  • hope he stays as Aussie as thongs and footy pie!

  • Seems like a cool dude. His Aussie accent is almost gone, you can still hear it when he says "island" but really by the time he leaves Bama he's gonna be saying howdy, y'all, and ain't like a native southerner. = )

  • wow losing his aussie accents fast.

    He sounds very American

  • @HonestBloke

he could easily pass for an American

  • wwooowwww goo aussiess

  • if nothing else he's definitely got the sweetest mullet in Tide history.

    Roll Mullet!

  • #Swag !

  • didnt see too much of him in the a-day game today. hope saban doesnt end up red shirtin him

  • @dcfbama Jessie Williams is a Juco transfer I dont think a transfer can be redshirted ,since hes only played American College football for a few yrs ,he has to learn the Defense, but he is huge , Josh Chapman, the returning Nose Guard said in practice that hes very much like Terrence Cody but quicker, just as strong and just as big....look for Williams to be Chapmans backup but expect to see him getting plenty of playing time, ....probably another NFL lineman from the Bama NFL pipeline

  • @GrooveDoctor77 oh really? I didnt know that. Glad he may be better than Terrence Cody though. lol. Also hope we pick up on the catchin because it wasnt lookin great.

  • @dcfbama yea I agree ,Julio Jones will be really missed I think he was probably the best reciever Bama ever had, only Ozzie Newsome could compare , Even though Jessie Williams impressed alot of people , still remains to be seen,.. Terrence,Cody was a once in a decade type player ,Im glad the Oline are veterans , hopefully another reciever will jump out of the pack , I saw too many passes to well covered recievers on Aday ,Gregs intelligence will also be missed

  • OMG I love his accent and he's a cutie!!! RTR!!!!

  • notice how he said he wanted to play for the best. well he came to the right school. RTR!

  • Welcome to the family. Roll Tide to the BAMA NATION!!

  • Coach Saban recruited this kid for a reason. He will be playing Terrance Cody's old position. He should be a real beast of a nose guard.

  • wise beyond his years. I like this kid

  • Roll Tide Bama's world wide !!

  • He has a Brisbane accent. Not every Australian sounds like Crocodile Dundee. He's an Islander.

He has picked up a few Americanisms though. He's a kid

Good for him. I hope he is successful.

  • JESSE! What is up with this accent? TORRES STRAYEET? COME ON MATE!?

  • @catalyst4thought
