We used a chemical called FERROCARB. It is from our range of ultrasonic solutions.

Here is some information from our website:

-Concentrated mixture of surfactants, sequestrants and caustic alkali

-Particularly effective in cleaning ferrous parts of internal combustion engines

-Removes carbon, paint, rust and lead deposits

-Not suitable for use with aluminium, zinc and plastics
