@Codybb again, Ok, I went into blender and created a simple meta ball test, converted the meta ball to a mesh, then exported it to ____ (can't say!), and then uploaded it to second life with no problems... So, hang in there, full, multi object mesh support is not that far off, and you'll be able to create meshes in blender or 3d studio or whatever, and upload the whole 9 yrds to SL, including meta balls!!! in the very near future.
@Codybb However, hang in there because full mesh support will be coming to SL really really soon. As part of the beta team, I can't really talk file format or release dates, but I can say it'll be soon, and just save any work for now in blender's format, and you'll be able to convert to the format the SL will use easily once it's available. So, long before the next snow flies meshes should be on the main grid and beta before that so don't count out meta balls yet... I'm going to test them now
Not to my knowledge. I'm not really sure how meta meshes work internally. I know the spin function has to be piped through the conversion addon. That question might be better posed to Gaia Clary or Domino Marama in the builder's forum on Second Life. Gaia made the original converter that converts beizers to meshes, then sculpts, and Domino modified that to make it work with spinning.... (see next message)
i know this might be off the subject but is there a way to make a meta mesh sculpty? iv seen it done some were but i cant remember were tho it would make everything alot easier.

Thanks Nilanya, I'm glad you liked it and I hope you find it useful! Look me up in world and show me what you make if you want (Johan Laurasia in SL)
