I don't have much experience.... wait, any experience, lol, with this type of driving, I'm more of a sports car, SUV, etc etc kinda guy, but I think, from what it looks like, if he were to just ease up on the gas and let those big tires do their job, he'd probably get up over that hill MUCH easier. v-8's typically have lots of HP at low RPM's, that combined with a properly geared tranny will deliver a lot of efficient power to the ground for this application, and this cant be dont without a 4x4 configuration. 2wd just wont put the power where it needs to be, which is everywhere.
