Hi yonka, yes, you could use the Quikrete, just make sure to follow the instructions religiously, the biggest advantage that thinfinish has is that it has a long pot life and more flexibility than the quickrete but I won't tell you that quikcrete won't work, give it a shot.
Ok thanks, is there any alternatives that i can use? how about the QUIKRETE resurfacer , are they the same as the THIN FINISH if they get dry, and for scoring wise do you think the QUIKRETE it will break or peel off?

Hi yonka09,Nope, home depot doesn't carry it but you can get it from EliteCrete; however you will most likely have to take some training classes as they do not generally sell directly to the public, only to installers. Look to find a distributor in your state at elitecrete's website
