@hanrichc You're right, they're "gie'in' it Laldi", as we say in Scotland. One isn't used to hearing early classical chamber music - Haydn particularly - played with such passion (no pun intended, given the subject matter).
This quartet's intensity is why I like to hear them play; I have particularly come to love their approach to Shostakovich.
Stunning version ...... so sensitive. Thank you so much for beautiful rendering of this heart-breaking piece of music.

Now for my facetious comment. The Navarra Quartet, in this line-up, features Boris Johnson on 1st violin and Ed Milliband on cello. (Not really!)
